If you’re watching sports news it’s going to be a pretty big story considering how rarely something this serious happens in an NFL game.

It makes sense that NFL players care because it’s a reminder that they can potentially die playing this sport.

Those two words describe Peyton Hillis. Has any of the broadcast talked about what he did?

What Peyton Hillis did was incredible, and heroic.

He’s not a current NFL player and it didn’t happen in front of Millions watching. We’re comparing apples to oranges here.

No clue what you're talking about.

Tons of it on Facebook. I live in Alabama, though.

Correct, are you somehow thinking all of that means you weren't whining?

Because you were, and you're still whining.

Why does people caring about a fellow human being who almost died bother you?

While we’re at it, let’s rename the book of Psalms to “Dan Orlovsky.” Maybe we can all get a day off of work every January 2nd for Damar Hamlin day as well.

It wasn't overblown when you didn't know whether or not he was going to live and if he was going to have any brain damage or not. Now that he is posting on Instagram and communicating with everyone it is becoming overblown.

I’ve been watching the NFL all day. Honestly, they could have pushed the Hamlin story much more than they have. I think it was overdone on social media more than anywhere. I’m just glad that it appears he’s going to recover.

The only thing that would have made this better for the media is if Tee Higgins were white, they could have pushed it as hate crime.

honestly don’t care what happens to him, I’m just trying to watch football on a Sunday and this DH bs keeps getting shoved down my throat.

Saying you don't care if someone dies or not doesn't make you cool or edgy. It makes you a piece of shite.

It’s always a good thing to pray for someone who may be near death. I think we need more empathy in our society.

I’m not as fired-up as you are about the matter, but this whole display of “Love for Damar” has taken on a bit of a “South Park” feel, this weekend.

Aww so sorry Burrow is good

You probably thought Drew Lock was going to translate to the NFL didn’t you? Poor thing.

Kinda funny how the nfl was against prayer, and then it was everywhere.
But, yes.
