So if he was still doing poorly you would cheer???!

Was great to hear Biden called his family. Do we know if he ever called the families of the servicemen murdered in the Afghanistan withdrawal or the border agents murdered defending our border? That’s a serious question.

A player almost died on the field
It’s kinda a big deal

Ok… I get you. Biden should not have done that.

Hamlin will end up capitalizing in a big way. With his new-found popularity he'll likely get a broadcasting opportunity even if his playing days are over.

I honestly don’t care that he did, but if the answer to my question is no, that says a lot about this administration and how woefully incompetent and misguided they are. Ok, that was getting almost political, so I digress

I honestly don’t care what happens to him, I’m just trying to watch football on a Sunday and this DH bs keeps getting shoved down my throat. From all of the praise he’s getting, you would think he saved a group of school children from being mauled by a pitbull or actually did something heroic

You definitely aren’t the only one OP. shite is ridiculous. We even had a thread on here talking about how a guy wishes he could donate to the millionaire directly. The virtue signaling is absolutely pathetic

Because people make it a big deal.
Its happened before, life went on.

I was tired of the story by the end of that Monday night.

I understand the attention. It was a very strange event. Easy to say it's overblown now, since he seems to be making a strong recovery. I don't blame the reaction on anyone.

Not so much tired of hearing about Hamlin. I'm tired of the bs televising/monetizing of prayer by people who likely never pray in their everyday life and don't believe a word they are praying. I'm not even a religious person or have faith in a god of any sort but it's too much. These same folks flooding our airwaves with alphabet causes, constant peddling of the death juice, and pretty much any other secular cause that exists now wants us to buy that they suddenly found God? That's what I'm tired of.

Agreed.

I’m tired of hearing about all the prayers instead of the medical staff that really saved his life and (unlike God and prayer) would have been held accountable had they fricked up and he died on the field. Hamlin lived because expert medical personnel were 100’ away with an ambulance on standby and a major hospital five miles away.
Prayer is useless. It’s what people do when there’s nothing else they can do. What’s that old saying? There are no atheists in fox holes? Well, tell me, if you’re on the scene of a medical emergency and have a choice between prayer or a phone call, what’s the believer going to do? They’re going to dial 911 on that damn phone.
If this incident happens to a player at some rural high school practice, he’s DEAD. I don’t give a shite who prays for him.

A good martyr has been needed for a while. Gives people a chance to get some attention

I don’t even believe in god but I’d rather hangout with Tim Tebow while he preaches to me about something I don’t even believe in than hangout with people like you.
