damn you!!!

When I wake up and login to see the F1 thread at the top, I'm hoping for some juicy gossip or something happened overnight.

Nope

Haas will bring a new update that was planned for Imola already at China GP. They will bring 2 kits just for 1 driver.

This update will be 70-80% of this complete update that will come finally in Imola.

In China Magnussen will drive with the update and in Miami Hulkenberg. At Imola they will then get all updates for both drivers.

Yeah, they definitely had something good to lure Lewis away: $446,000,000 in the twilight of his career

Seems like Merc would have been fine giving him 446,000,001 though to keep him. Wouldn't think money would have been the thing. Maybe not though, that's a lot of money

Top of the midfield is ripe for the taking with DannyRic being WASHED. If these upgrades work . . . man, that would be awesome.

I can't think Merc believes Russell is their #1.

I think Hulk is the better driver of the two. Will be interesting to watch how each does with upgrades. So far the new Haas TP is killing it imo

MAG is a utility driver. You can plug him and place him in a variety of situations. He is especially racy when he is defending against vehicles with similar speed. I believe HUL is outright quicker though.

Considering Ferrari will likely want Bearman in a seat next year it will be interesting to see what happens.

I think Hulk is the faster of the two, when he doesn't blow starts, but there is talk he may be on Audi's radar.

Russell shunting it in the last lap of a race is a pleasure to see.

Would they though? I mean, sales of his merchandise and the likes def plateaued with Merc. He wouldn’t bring in 1/10 of what he will with Ferrari.

Every Ham fan now needs a new hat, shirt, jacket, etc…

I cannot find the article but I saw something like that also that Hulk was way up the list and a favorite to join Audi.

There's no way you watch F1.

Actually, you're right. I got excited with it for a while, then gave up on it after I realized it's the same old shite every week.

takes a deep breath and prepares for total warfare

I don't dislike Osama Bin Russell, although I enjoy jokes at his expense. He seems like a type of guy we all know: the one who wants to be liked and popular (or perhaps even famous) a little too much. But I think he is a pretty quick driver. At times, I believe he doesn't take himself too seriously, but then at other times, you can tell he does.

There. I said it. I am prepared for battle.

What's with the reference of Osama with Russell?

And I heard RPM refer to him as a terrorist?

I only called him Osama Bin Russell because RPM did.

I got your back.

I have a love/hate with Russell. Maybe a kinda-don't-mind/hate relationship as love is too strong. I think his crowning of being heir-apparent to Merc a couple years ago did harm to his image, and also did harm to his ego. He's a decent driver. Don't forget he dragged a Williams shitbox into P2 in the rain at Spa and should have won the 2020 Bahrain outer track had Merc not fricked him (which coincidentally did amazing things to Perez's career). His entitled poshy ego just comes across wrong sometimes. It was epitomized by the Bottas crash and glove slap.
