I know I’m beating a dead horse but I just really want to see toxic materials science take a leap into better/cleaner/safer/recyclable alternatives.
put on your hippy glasses and imagine a world where we can both prosper/innovate and not shite our nest in the process. This poisonous disposable world can not last indefinitely
I really wish this was the priority for every single mega company…figure out how to do it cleaner and fund that effort generously

Its not. Trump eliminates 4 EPA regulations for every new one implemented.

meaningful change will only happen when/if its the better option. that is agnostic to petty political concerns. the market will decide. you cannot regulate into it

All of my shares went on loan first thing this morning. I’m assuming that means someone opened a short position?

I am all for clean water and air, as I think most people are. I also think graphene filters can help decrease pollution.
I would love to see if graphene can help filter toxins out of our bloodstream. Wouldn't that be something?
Trump is not against pollution. He is against communism. The communists don't just use rich vs poor, anymore. They use the global warming hoax to increase regulation and gain more control. Our government will take draconian measures to eliminate pollution - stop driving cars, stop using plastic straws, eat bugs, etc. Companies like Hydrograph will help us eliminate polution without giving up our way of life.
What will our investments look like if the communists take control? Would there even be a Hydrograph? Probably not.

Hydrograph "clean power" is Communist..HA. HA

I wonder if "they" are getting it to a price that can be taken private.

Are you talking about the HGRAF management team buying back shares, or are you talking about an outside entity?
In the first scenario, I think the HGRAF board has a strict fiduciary responsibility to the share holders and if they were pushing for a lower price, in order to buy back shares, they would probably get sued by us.
As far as an outside firm, the board and executive team are all working for lower salaries in exchange for equity. They want the price to be high. If an outside group tries to drive the price down, the executive team has a "poison pill" strategy they can employ that would essentially allow all shareholders to buy more shares at a sharp discount, meaning that they hostile takeover group would have to buy more shares in order to get a controlling interest. It would really suck for the shareholders like us, because most of us probably don't have a lot of dry powder to use on buying additional shares.
I guess the third option is that someone offers a fair price for the stock - and the shareholders accept it. I've long thought that it is possible that the HGRAF board is playing for this, anyway. For example, what if the KB announces that the redomicile is complete and they have 2000 tons of POs inked, along with an offer of $40/share for the stock. Would you take it?
My reasoning behind this theory is that KB and all of the executive team seem to be more versed with the science of graphene and don't have a lot of expertise in the manufacturing, sales, and management of a multi-national company. What if their plan all along was to get the price up to an acceptable level and then sell the stock. Selling the stock at $40/share could certainly be viewed as taking care of the shareholders, no?

Don’t threaten me with a good time

I considered this. At $3.50 we could buy in at $1.75 to quash an attempted takeover. I would sell something else that I am down on a little, and take the L to buy as many as I could at 1/2 price.

I would rather not. It would create an enormous tax burden for me. My plan is for it to go up and sell off small chunks to keep me below whatever they have the next step-up level at that time. It would also leave me with a big chunk of cash that Pocahontas would be drooling over taking from me.
That being said, I would take the $40 if that was the choice.

I am not tied to share price but I am market cap.
$40/share would be 13.46bn market cap (baring no additional dilution events). 3M is 82b and 30 P/E ratio.
Here is a table I have been using to track our position. I did go all the way to 1,000 because it's fun to dream.

If the stock payout at $40 a share, would you reinvest into the acquiring company?
I most certainly would
Probably do 50% stake of my profits

My chart looks at the tonnage produce/sold as the driver for stock price.

Apologize if I'm an idiot but wouldn't you just use some of the gains to pay for the taxes?

That’s a correct analysis for a true stock price and then estimating a p/e of probably 20-40 range?
I was more referring to the comment “I’d take $40/share” whereas I’d look at it “I’ll take $50b for the whole company”
ETA: and in this case that would be ~$150/share.

Lake Chuck product, McNeese grad, Post Doc with Tour Research Group at Rice made the first single wall carbon nanotube wire in 2015. The oil price crashed so Shell and Baker Hughes suspended research funding.

It depends on the company. If is something like PG, or Rubbermaid, they are spread so wide that they could not do it justice. It would just fall in the cracks of "One of the hundreds of divisions" they own.
This company is a budding rock star. It doesn't need to be hidden, muffled, or overshadowed by someone like Elon buying it.
