Paul sighting - usually a bottom indicator

Great, that doesn't mean it doesn't go down first. If you have watched this stock you should know that there is a chance at a better re-entry than 160. I am going to wait and see what happens next week.

If $170 doesn't hold then I'd say it's a look out below scenario.
All I can do is make my best guess based on the 200 day moving average.
Fake outs happen.
Ultimately, I'm not too worried about short term price action due to my commitment to this holding.
$170 didn't hold. We hit 155, and we are definitely not out of the woods yet. Earnings may save us, but it also may not (see last fall).
I'm not worried about it because I have no options.

Wish I had said that last fall...

NEBIUS IS BUILDING CAPACITY FOR A MUCH BIGGER AI BUSINESS.
Amazon was once a bookstore.
Google was once a search engine.
Nebius seems to be the Neocloud with a vision for how AI is going to work in the future, not just a GPU rental company. They are creating an ecosystem, and I don't think we know the half of it, yet.

Yes, excellent bottom indicator.

Up so far tonight. I was afraid the initial reaction to the financing news would be negative because of the skittish market...

Ya'll need to buy this, and wait a year, same with MU. Money is coming.

Elon has taken care of this - comments on neo clouds that are being applied to everything.

So, just to clear things up.
The market is now seriously doubting Arkady's ability to get loans in order to scale?
That's about as good as it believing he was a Russian op.

I don't think this is a bad thing in the long run. Elon said that a few will survive. I would hope that this causes analysts to evaluate ALL of the neoclouds and try to determine who is positioned to still be standing at the end.
You gonna bet against NBIS?

From a respectable financial guy who I follow and who is usually spot on with his analysis. Not saying he is right on this.
“Finance expert speaking: SpaceX's primary source of revenue will be selling compute, just like neoclouds.
Neoclouds are effectively only a funding vehicle, assuming there is no lasting and material differentiator in standing up data centers.
Hence, the competition among neoclouds, including SpaceX, comes down to cost of capital.
This is precisely why Elon is now throwing shade at them to impact other neoclouds' cost of capital. The greater the fear, the greater the funding cost. The weaker the competition.”

150, is this the re-entry price or does it go lower?

The 50 week MA has been taken out. That level is 161.82 this week. It would need to recapture that to bring buyers back in.
The October month is a red outside bar (engulfing the prior month (higher high and lower low)) which is also a big bearish indicator at least for November.
I don’t see this moving any where other than a drift downward till their earnings. If earnings gaps it back up and holds, or gets back over 160 might bring buyers back in for Christmas rally mid November and on.

This has been the differentiator for Nebius since the start. Nebius grew out of Yandex (The Russian Google) and they had a strong software/hardware engineering team before they started. They are developing an ecosystem to attract enterprise clients that makes AI development easier for clients whose primary business is not AI or software development. They have never been about bare metal data centers.
AI development for these companies isn't just for reports, or accounting, or logistics, or inventory. It is going to be used for those things plus engineering, product design, security, etc. Across every sector of most every company in America, eventually. Comanies won't have to switch to another software - they can use their existing software enhanced by AI. If Nebius provides an easier way to develop these AI agents, they will seperate themselves from the pack.
I think Nebius is probably working to be the preferred vendor for the AI consulting companies, as well.

I bought a partial position at 150, 162 now. Going to see what it does the rest of the day and week.
