Lol, not even close to what Elon said. He basically said that many of the neoclouds would face guppy level death and consolidate because debt markets have almost completely shut off funding for firms lacking in revenue outside of AI data centers. He didn't say every neocloud would be shut out.

I mean, it's not far off from what he said.

I like this. Good for stock price, but also nice that Nebius has assets to leverage if they are ever in a bind with respect to raising capital.

One year ago, Nebius was trading at $125/share. The average daily trade volume was about 600,000.
Today, the average volume is over 20,000,000/day.

Because of search and YT ads. Google cloud beat expectations and expanded operating margins on that business. So of course it's time to hammer AI infrastructure spending.

The real news is a fear of capex growth peak. Not a decline in nominal capex but a rate of change towards normalizing in 2027.
No idea if this is the result but that’s what has traded the AI supply chain down, IMO.
Less hyperscaler spend versus expectations = less revenue for some of the AI supply chain.
However
Read the first paragraph.

Let’s see what Microsoft says. Their contract is locked in.

Buckle up for tomorrow after these poor earnings. Doesn’t instill confidence for NBIS coming up
