You clearly don't follow college basketball.
Nate Oats had a player murder someone with a gun supplied by another players. The supplier of the gun didn't get suspended at all because he was Alabama's star player.
Bruce Pearl, as a young coach, secretly recorded a conversation with a player he was recruiting admitting to being offered benefits by another school, then tried to use it to put the other school on probation. He was essentially black-balled from D-1 coaching because of it.
Rick Pitino was essentially sanctioning an assistant coach to hire hookers to "service" recruits on visits.
The former Penn head coach pled guilty to money laundering and accepting bribes in exchange for getting a guy enrolled at Penn.
Kelvin Sampson got TWO programs put on probation. Same for John Calipari.
Wade was paying players. The same thing every other major college HC was doing. Wade just had the ridiculous misfortune of being taped talking to the one guy in HISTORY cooperating with the FBI at a time the FBI for the first, and only, time in history every investigated college basketball recruiting. An investigation that turned out to be one of the most meaningless investigations in history and no one received lengthy sentences and "pay for play" essentially became legal 3 years later.
Is Wade an aggressive recruiter? Absolutely. Is he all that worried about making friends and making sure the NCAA likes him? No. Shady recruiters that win big get statues. Nice guys who follow the rules and lose at an historic rate get put in the corner and told to wait while booster hire his replacement.
But to act like Wade is one of the "slimiest" guys in college basketball to come around in a long time is a joke. College basketball itself is "slimy". Hell, that is the sole reason AAU basketball exist. To sell players to college coaches.

Why are y'all even going back and forth with that guy? If there is a chance to shite on Wade you can 1000000% guarantee he will be in the thread. He doesn't miss many chances to shite on LSU in general. He is just a troll from another fan base, yet every time he post he gets 100 bites.

I will say this about Touray. He is the poster child for PUMA PRO16 for the next 2 years. He has a world of upside, His handlers will be a handful. He played for Tre Mann Elite this summer. One of my kids played alongside him. I'll say this also, his recruitment will be bigger than Reese but with MORE drama IMO. I can go deeper, but I'm not gonna do that to the kid. I just hope he get better people around him because what I saw first hand from some shady arse people involving him is ridiculous.
