if LSU's defense gets torched again and we lose? House will be gone by Sunday

There is about a zero percent chance House is fired mid season.

Might as well just quit bringing it up over and over. It isn’t happening.

You don’t have to like it, but it’s true.

But with great coaches, you see improvement. I haven’t seen any so far.

I agree. We saw it all last year which is why I dont think House is the problem. our defense turned out to be pretty decent last year.

I really think this is Jancek trying to run a DL and he's got no clue on who to play where. House is only one guy and can only fix one group at a time.

why are we even signing players like that? Getting veteran guys from Marshall and UL is dumb imo.

I agree, but SEC ball is different. These guys may have looked good going up against equal competition in film. Put them against SEC talent and they'll look inferior. They would've more than likely been in the SEC if they were worthy.

LOL. What DC will come here after going 10-2 their first year and then get fired after 6 games.

Yeah no defensive coordinator wants to paid at the top of list for coordinators at all. They wouldn’t want National recognition. You’re so right

I think House need to seriously turn thing around to keep his job but i do t think he will get fired during the season.

There isn’t a better interim option o. the team. I could see 3-4 Defensive coaches losing their jobs at the end of the season if things keepnup

I was born in Baton Rouge, grew up going to LSU games...sold programs in high school and to this day LSU Fans amaze me.

What is y'alls obsession with getting someone fired and thinking the announcers are pulling for the other team?

There is zero upside to firing a coordinator mid season. You aren’t going to find a quality permanent replacement option out there and you have to pay him for the year anyway. If he’s that bad of a coach then have him helping the groundskeepers. Like I said, he’s going to get paid regardless. May as well get SOME work out of him.

BK isn't going to can him. He'll wait until the season's over. It's remarkable how shitty House has managed to become at his job. I remember at the beginning of last season when he was killing it and everyone wanted to keep him from going to the NFL.

Doesn’t look as bad as giving up over 700 yards in one game.

which one of his assistants do you want taking the interim tag?

that's a difficult call... after the D coaches we have 3 D analysts, 2 GA and a couple of developmental coaches. But we are already down the DL coach and that shows. Hopefully, Pete can help us make some incremental improvements on that front... any experienced coaches out of coaching who could help the DBs?

I believe this is the scheme Kelly wants and desires! No explanation for not changing things up and pressuring the QB.

He may tell House start looking for other opportunities but he doesn't like firing people.

After so many special teams debacles, Polian was just reassigned a different role in the organization before he jumped ship. House is abyssmal but not as glaring as special teams, yet Polian remained on staff.

Mid season firings are more destructive than losing. It sends all the wrong messages. We still haven’t recovered from the Orgeron mid season fiasco. Yuge mistake.

Disagree it does take place. House should geaux.

"Nebraska fired defensive coordinator Erik Chinander on Sunday, a day after his unit allowed 49 points and 580 yards in a 49-14 loss to Oklahoma."

Can’t get pressure with 4, can’t cover when we blitz. That’s the explanation.

Who will call defense for the rest of season? I assume anyone would be better.
