Saw that TJ Finley is transferring from Tulane to Georgia Sate, his 6th team that he has played for in his college career. He enrolled at LSU in January of 2020. This is crazy.

There were several sources and few threads saying they "agreed to terms", however late last night there was rumblings that Baker and his family were questioning the move. Then news broke tonight.

Not the same, Saban was a younger up and coming couch. He had success at Mich St and was a hot coach coming from there. LK is different situation being that he is the top available coach in the country. Saban was highly thought of, but wasn't at the level as LK. Of course he proved himself years later.

Question is how much did Lane offer Baker to stay. I am just assuming he is getting a raise, maybe not. I know rumors were his family didnt want to move again. So maybe that was huge factor in the decision as well.

You could even say that this could influence offensive side of the ball as well. Recruits looking at the "whole package".
