Right.
Most NFL teams looking for a possession receiver, ae looking for a player with reliable hands.

He is a 3rd rd pick on many draft boards.

I just dont understand the Lacy hate on this board. Its like some of yall have this weird arse infatuation with him failing at the next level.

Was he a Malik, BTJ, Odell, Chase, or Jefferson type talent? No... but he was productive. He transferred in from a smaller program and exceeded expectations in my opinion. He finished in the top 5 of the SEC this season.

Lacy will be fine in the NFL. A good combine can put him as high as the 3rd Round. Imo, he's more polished than what DJ Chark and Russell Gage was as a prospect. If he can clean up the drops, he'll play for at least 6 years I'm the NFL.

Probably a 4th round type. Good measurable and will test well, somebody will take the chance that his awareness improves. If he can cut down the stupid drops and antics, he will be a steal

Imagine saying this about any other player that would led the SEC in TDs at their position lol

Will probably be a 3rd round guy after workouts. Strong receiver, good speed, good routes. Bad hands but GMs seem to overlook that if the measurables are there.
Worthy from last year was a first round draft pick based pirely off speed. Not a good route runner, one of the worst drop rates in the country, really thin build.

As for Lacy, big body WR with aggression, great blocker, boxes out guys in the endzone and on jump balls. okay route runner. Okay speed. He has the occasional drop, but his drop rate isn't near as bad as the tRant's collective nonsensical take makes it out to be

Comp - Brandon LaFell

Round -late 2nd to mid 4th

A lot of LSU fans have started to treat LSU WRs like Oklahoma and Ohio St fans treated their QBs. When you're so used to a position being NFL elite good, you over criticize. LSU had a good group of WRs this year, a really good group for college standards. They just didn't have a bunch of top 5 in the NFL talents.

Think you see him or Taylor end up in Washington. Hoping for Taylor. Could learn a bit from Ertz and be a future top 5 TE in the NFL. Lacy would be a good consolation prize. He has the size to be really good in the NFL. Probably will be a great #2 in time.

Shittttt! Gage could clean the top of DB's helmets with his crotch while jumping over them with the ball....

Nice retarded post Nitrogen, should head on over to the recruiting board and act like you don’t know who some of the players that are transferring out.

I just don't see him being a #1. Drop issues and no over the top speed like Chase, Nabers or Thomas. Would like to compare him to JJ with the big body, but JJ catches everything (including so many contested throws) thrown his way.

Rooting for him, though.

Kayshon and Kyren are nothing alike as prospects. Like they share zero traits.

Kayshon was a burner who (when healthy) was a great YAC guy and possible return man.

Kyren is a big slot receiver who runs crisp routes and always gets to the sticks.

This is like comparing Chris Olave to Michael Thomas. They’re nothing alike.

This was literally the SEVENTH post in the entire thread. The FIFTH post in the thread (posted 20 minutes earlier), expressed the very same thing.

How lazy or brain dead, or just dishonest, do you have to be to be to post the very same thing and pretend it was your own?

This is what I remember most about him he moves the chains on third down and can get open.

Lose the attitude and stop making bonehead decisions and he will definitely make a roster.

He needs to improve his hands and coordination. Too many drops. Hopefully he end sup on a team with a good vet WR and coaches to coach him up with that.

He does 2 things NFL teams covet: 1) he blocks very well, but more importantly, 2) he gets open. That’s a trait that’s almost impossible to teach by this point in his career. There are a lot of faster guys who can’t figure out how to get open.

They’ll work on the drop, hope they get better, but still live with them. But there’s no chance for a drop with guys who can’t get open. Karan does, and he’ll 1000% be drafted. Where? No idea. Probably sometime between mid 2nd and end of the 4th. But he’ll be on an active roster next year without question unless he’s injured.
