re: Preseason Rankings - I don't get the lack of respect for Aranda - tirebiter
Maybe the last impression vs ND was hard for some to work through. I would have put them at 18, 25 is casting a blind eye to the talent level of the team. Maybe some of it was coming out of spring ball with no leader at QB and the schedule. Still a fan of waiting 5 games before any rankings occur...

re: Tigers OL and Coach Cregg - tirebiter
We’re gonna have to really improve on the OL going forward, or we’ll be leaning on Defense, and STs
That's a given, but with improved pass protection and WRs catching more balls that hit them in the hands it can help with the run game. I mean, there are no proven LF7s or Guice on ...

re: Tigers OL and Coach Cregg - tirebiter
The OL was roughly where I thought it would be, needs significant improvement. Then again, it's the most challenging unit to play well in early in a season, especially with multiple new starters.
150 yards on 42 carries. Averted under 4 yards a carry and it was even worse outside of 1...
I certainly thought we were better than 25 but I don't think we can match up with teams in the top 10 It really showed in the 2nd half: Clock management Offensive play predictability Young DB's making poor plays on ball Injuries to star players I don't know if this team ca...

re: Ozarks Season 2 thread - tirebiter
I think the people comparing this show to BB after 1 season have doomed it to be a disappointment. Now instead of hoping we get something as good as the 1st season people will be looking for it to be as good as one of the better shows in the last few decades.
:rotflmao: Ozarks S1...
It’s not very realistic that Amma just happened to be friends with at least two like-minded psychos in little ole Wind Gap.
What was really unrealistic is that none of the 3 girls gossiped about what they did.....in a rural small town, which are gossip havens. I found the series t...

re: Richt v Orgeron - tirebiter
He had injuries in key positions almost annually that hurt him at Georgia.
C'mon, man, Richt had more multiple year starting QB's during his tenure than any coach I can remember, David Green alone started 52 consecutive games. I'm not saying he is not a good coach, but with the ta...

re: BBQ Q&A - Brisket - tirebiter
The last 3 prime briskets I got at Costco were so fatty they were disgusting although that will be hard for some to believe, easily 40% waste, ton of external and internal fat. This was the only packer left at Kroger, 16 lbs, and the dreaded Select grade. That didn't really matter to me as most wa...
True, you wouldn’t be living extravagantly. But you’d make enough to enjoy yourself and take reasonable vacations and pay your bills and not work, go fishing, play some golf, watch Judge Judy every day, grill steak and shrimp every Saturday night, pick up a new hobby like painting or home...
quote: RMD on $1m is only $36,500 before tax. That's based on a 2% ROI at a time U.S. 30 Year Treasuries run 3%. At 3%, one could withdraw $45K/yr for over 30yrs before tapping out.
That would not be inflation adjusted $45k/year. With Prime Mmkt currently at 2.06 % and va...
