B/c you don't storm the field when you expect to win the game.

Storming the field is for programs who got lucky beating a team they wish they could be like one day, at least it was at one time. Now it's just a bunch of morons who "just want to have fun bro".

Day game

2018 Georgia was a day game but yeah probably had something to do with it.

Also the storming the field craze hadn't really taken off like it is lately

that didn't stop us in 2018 vs Georgia

Forgot all about this game. Because I was black out drunk after about 1:30. Looking back though, that wasn’t a worthy game of rushing the field either.

I was at that game. A few minutes before the end of the game, state troopers took a knee around the entire fence surrounding the field. No one was rushing the field that day.

I could see the argument either way, but that was the 1st meaningful win of the Coach O era. felt like the program turned a corner that day.

Because we hadn't hit the stretch of 8 straight losses to them yet. That would come later unfortunately.

It was a huge win. Also Georgia brought a shite ton of people and were super confident they would walk all over us

Remembering now, I watched it at the bar at Chimes with nothing but UGA fans in there. I was talking shite from start to finish (we were all having fun)…Slowly but surely they fizzled out of there when it became apparent BDJ and the boys came to play.

UGA was a 7 point favorite and ranked 2 in the country at the time. We hadn't done much with O at that point and it felt like a huge win at the time which it was.

I didn't rush the field in 2014 as a student against Ole Miss because I felt like we were supposed to just beat OM, but I did against UGA in 2018.

Guess I'm having some Mandella effect then. I remember the TD to Stokes when we never threw him the ball but for some reason I have memory of that being a 2:30 game. Possibly because the last game I attended was 2012 Ole Miss and I know for a fact that was a day game so maybe my brain just combined the two.

Had the same thing happen to me not long ago when I was remembering the Saints/Bills game when the Saints blew them out in Buffalo, I could have sworn it was a snow game but looked up the highlights and the field was green the entire time.

it was 2010. They had 1 title but we had also beaten them in 2007. at that point we were 2-2 vs Saban.

they then proceeded to go 163-18 the next 13 seasons and win 5 more NC and appear in the championship game 3 more times.

Then you look at who has beaten them.

22- Tennessee snaps an15 game losing streak. literally their first win over Bama
LSU- snaps a 5 game home losing streak. 2nd win in 12 years.
21- A&M 3-2 teams upsets #1 to snap a 8 game losing streak and their first win over Bama at home ever
17-Auburn: Iron Bowl
2014 - Ole Miss: Snapped a 10 game win streak, win over #3 and first win over Saban.
2013: Kick 6

So we’re talking about teams amazing 15, 10, 8 game losing streaks, Some are getting their not home wins against saban or their first in a decade. and then we’re talking about the iron bowl.

In 2010, that was the 4th time in 6 games that LSU had beaten Alabama and the 4th time in 6 home games that LSU had beaten Alabama.

In 2022, LSU lost to Alabama in 11 of the last 12 games and had not won in TS in 13 games. Perhaps the situation was a little different.

The article must not have mentioned the part where that was the 8th LSU victory over Bama in 11 yrs.

this was our 8th victory over Ole Miss in 11 years.

Up until 2012 LSU and Alabama were on the same level. Alabama didn’t start dominating and pulling ahead of everyone until 2012 and beyond.

How old are you?

Do you not realize LSU was all but Alabama’s big brother until 1/9/12? Beating Alabama in 2010 wasn’t unexpected

Maybe because we had won like 6 of the last 8 meetings?
