Yesterday I posted on this board just stating the facts quite similar to your post. The ignorant venom in response to my post was fast and plentiful. You are correct. None of this benefits LSU.

I swear some of you have battered wife syndrome. It's ok to point out the hypocrisy of the SEC and its selective enforcement and selective harassment of member schools.

A defense that is late is likely ineffective in this case, especially when the facts, law and ethics are on our side. I say lay the hammer down and give the SEC everything they deserve.

What are you even talking about? LSU didn't roster the players and they amended the lawsuit based off of a joking comment made by Kiffin. They moved the goal post. LSU adds 2 players so they can no longer add those players and it doesn't matter because the amendment reads, "whether they play those players or not."
Skanky didn't like Gov's comments in November/October of last year, they didn't like that we fired Woodward, didn't like we hired Kiffin, didn't like we rehired Wade, didn't like we appointed Wade Rouse when he didn't fully meet the standards, didn't like the meeting at the Gov's mansion about private equity and didn't like this situation and how it played out. You are being extremely ignorant by saying "fall in line." This was never about those players. If it was the situation would be over. Speak from a position of knowledge, not ignorance.

Too headstrong? I’d argue LSU understands the art of war pretty well. Sometimes you give up a battle to put yourself in a better position to win the war.
LSU filling the 105-man roster took most of the teeth out of the SEC’s argument. Those disputed players aren’t on the roster. If the SEC now continues pursuing expulsion, bans or punishment against LSU, it has to justify punishing a member school for challenging a rule rather than actually violating one.
And now the players can pursue their own claims. Discovery in those cases could become uncomfortable for the SEC because it could expose how these players were treated, which schools recruited or communicated with them, and whether the SEC applied its position consistently across its membership.
Meanwhile, LSU has a team capable of winning the SEC, making the CFP and competing for a national championship.
THAT is the war. LSU doesn’t need to keep fighting every battle today when the courts may fight this one for them.
