weren’t out last year with 2 losses hoss

That’s why football probably needs more than a 12 team playoff. Every other sport, college and pro including the NFL has a shite ton more playoff teams.
obnoxiously bad take. Let’s water down college football even more and take the excitement out of the regular season that’s been there for nearly a century. What makes this sport so exciting and why all the pageantry exists. Stop being a little wuss. You can’t win so you want to change the rules, that’s some sissy shite.

Were you not here for the last baseball season where one game literally makes zero difference? These morons would work themselves into a mad panic every single time we lost. Hell, if half of these dimwits had their way, JJ would have been fired 4 games into the season last year. We see how that ended.

Do you seriously think a 2 loss SEC champ that lost to a top ten OOC opponent would be left out?

This year absolutely. 12 team playoff, maybe if you got blown out kinda like Sunday.

The silver lining is the game holds little weight. If LSU handless business and beats bama they're in the same position they were last year. An opportunity to finish the season and win the sec to guarantee a playoff spot. They could feasibly lose another game in embarrassing fashion and still control their destiny ala Tennessee last year. So LSU has every goal equally attainable as it was 2 weeks ago with the same mission: win the west, win the sec.

I mean, the DB class is pretty nasty this year. They got some really good guys last year too but they’re puppies.
Agreed, but if the D-line recruiting doesn’t change in a hurry, having good Db’s won’t really matter.

People have control issues and want instant gratification. This is not just LSU fans.

LSU completely blew the game in second half but more importantly it was the coaches scheme, game plan, and lack of adjustments that lost the game.
This......

I rarely get triggered by an LSU football loss anymore, except in games like these where there is very obvious Coaching Dysfunction driven by Stubbornness and Ego.......

Why a football loss triggers so many

i think the "trigger" is multifaceted. it's not just a loss. this was a 3 TD beat down in the 2nd half of the game. many here (including myself) expected us to be competitive and/or win this game and have a successful season (which we still can).

it looked to me like we gave up on defense late in the 3rd & 4th quarter. IMO that was the big trigger... seeing the team not continue to "fight" and getting blown out when the expectation was to win.

The fact he didn’t know energy and enthusiasm helps your team is sad. ND fans were right about every single thing about BK

Are you not on here for baseball season? LSU fans still treat every loss in baseball just like they are treating this loss.

the head coach is responsible for all of it. Not saying he needs to do everything himself, but the head coach is responsible for all aspects of the football program.

The buck stops with the guy making $100 million.

More? Twelve is already too many. It’s college sports, not the NFL. Baseball and basketball can accommodate a bigger field with games being played in much shorter time frame than football.

I agree with some of this, but more than 12? That’s insane and way too much.

Every other level of college football has 16 teams. The NFL has 14 teams make the playoffs out of 32. IDK why anyone argues against 16 out of 130 teams making the playoffs in CFB...i never hear the argument it makes the regular season meaningless for other sports. It will be much better next year bc there will be 15-20 teams/fanbases hoping for a playoff berth going into the last game of the year instead of maybe 6-7

Sounds like a he’s adjusting to me?

Sounds like a weak excuse. You’d figure he would know that the team needs to come out with intensity and a competitive edge in order to win big time football games. But then again he tends to get blown out in big time football games so maybe he doesn’t know yet..

Depends on the style of loss. Good game down to the wire and we lose, so be it.

Your "elite" coaching staff returning an entire offense and cant score in the RZ to save it's life due to stubborness and shite scheming and neutering the most productive defensive player in the entire country... very frustrating. It was a toss up on who the better team was, but we made them look much better.

This also falls on leadership of team captains …how do you let the team get flat.
