Honey Badger followed closely by Dorsey followed even closer by PP.

We've a lot of dogs that were solid all the time and had flah games.

Mathieu and Dorsey just dominated so much that at times it seemed like they were the entire defense.

I know they're old school, but I vote for George Rice, Ernest Maggiore, Tommy Fussell and Remi Prudhomme.

You guys are too young to know A.J.Duhe but he was a force we lined up all over the field and the Offenses had no answer for him..

If I have to choose just one it would be Honey Badger but Dorsey and White are right there.

HB7.

He was invited to New York for the Heisman. Did any other D player get there?

During which Era?

All-Time: The list would start with Tommy Casanova - 3x All-American.

Tommy Casanova may have been the best football player, regardless of position, in college his senior year. He was on a SI cover that said just that prior to that season.
But i cannot rate him as the most "dominant" player, because in the defensive backfield, you could throw in another direction. And, teams didn't rely on the pass as much.
He was a deadly return man, but that is not a position on defense.
Respect to No. 37, but a few others were more "dominant" on defense.

Dorsey had one of the most dominant seasons by a DL ever. He won a LOT of Hardware too.

Dorsey before the assault by that Auburn player was insane. That injury was one of the great tragedies of sports.

That chop block ruined Dorsey's career and cost him millions. If you don't believe it watch video pre-chop and after he came back after the injury. frick that Auburn team.
