Thank you!

Amazes me that when people ask who the most dominant defensive player was Chad Lavalais name rarely comes up.

He absolutely destroyed opposing teams O-lines. Guy lived in opposing teams backfields. He was the single most destructive force I’ve seen on an LSU D-line over the past 25 years.

and Donnie Jones were the MVPs on that team.

As for the OP, Michael Brooks - LB, Leonard Marshall - DL, Honey Badger - DB.

Dorsey was dominate, Mathieu and Peterson could change the game. Devin White, Laron Landry, Bradie James, Craig Steltz, Corey Webster, Chad Jones could put you out cold. There are others, of course, but these come to mind in my lifetime.

Who is the most dominant Defensive player in LSU history? I will go with Devin White...

Most dominant defensive player is not Devin White. He was great and at times took over games (2017 Auburn or 2017 Florida) but he is not the most dominant linebacker. You need to go watch Bradie James highlights.

Defensive Line Glenn Dorsey is a great answer. But Booger and Chad Lavalais were dominant in their own right and deserve recognition.

Secondary Corey Webster was a legitimate shutdown corner and his '03 season was one of the best in LSU's history but it is hard to not put Tyrann Mathieu as the most dominant DB his 2011 season was insanely good. If we would have been able to win the Title in 2011 it would be recognized as the best season by a defensive back in modern college football history.

I'll go with Patrick Peterson. He dominated the guy across from him consistently.

People that say this must have not been watching when Julio jones, AJ green, and Jeff Fuller lined up across from Peterson.
