I had 4-1.

Before we knew A&M was trash, I had us either beating OM and losing to A&M in a letdown game - or losing to OM and beating A&M in a pissed off game.

Yeah, pre season I thought that LSU would get out of the first 4 at 3-1, then get to 7-1, then finish the season 10-2. Figured you'd split with Ole Miss/Texas A&M & split with Alabama/Texas. Really wish I was wrong, I'd feel a lot better about the rest of the schedule if we were sitting at 5-0 right now.

the 3 games, going into the season, i was concerned about/would have possibly made a case for a loss were Ole Miss, TAMU, and Texas

now, the only game of concern, truly, IMO, is Bama b/c while we bottled up Marcel Reed, Keelon Russell is a better, slightly, but still better, passer than Reed is

5 and 0 was my prediction. Loss at Bama and Texas.

I had them in the playoff at 10-2 splitting OM/A&M and TX/Bama.

Halfway there. I now think they win out, but it doesn't matter as long as they are playing their best ball in Dec and Jan.

I did have them 4-1 going to KY jelly. Loss to OM.

You, me, and probably a lot of people. The Ole Miss circus and it being their Super Bowl was a lot to overcome.

Now comes the time of being a big boy program again and winning these next 3 games in business like fashion as expected.

I figured 4-1, although I thought Aggie would’ve been the trap game after Ole Miss…

Yeah I had a feeling we'd drop 1 to either OM or A&M and I'd bet most fans did too.

Same with November and TX/Bama although both of those are at home.

I've had LSU undefeated every year since 1967. And I was right once!

I'll take it step or three forward and say I had them at optimistically 7-1 going into the bye. I thought the OM or TAM games would be tough ones, likely leading to one L. I'm not taking the next three game lightly, but we have the better roster and coaches. Play the way we are capable, with a business-like approach, and keep stacking wins.

After the bye 3-1 gets you in the CFP. 2-2 will put us on the edge. Can't wait to watch it all unfold.

I dont think theres anyway we get in the playoff with 3 losses unless we beat Texas and bama and lose close to tenn and uga in the sec championship..not sure we get in the sec championship with 2 sec losses though

For the money we spent in the Coach we have I expected them to be 5 and 0 quite frankly.

This year SEC feels like early 2000's SEC. OM beat us and then gets throttled by another SEC school, who then gets throttled by ANOTHER SEC school, who LSU then throttles later in the season. The BcS years were always SEC cannibalism. Meanwhile Miami and ND were playing Our Lady of the Blinds JV squad each week.

If we had a QB we would be 5-0
