Who else honestly had LSU @ 4-1 after 5 games.

I did have them 4-1 going to KY jelly. Loss to OM. CLK has this team focused and actually playing well at the right time. We roll KY, they have a weak defense and we need to run them in the ground and get after them on defense. Deuce gets 3 sacks or more.

I had 4-1. I thought we either beat Ole Miss & lose to A&M the next week or vice versa. The emotional train ride of Ole Miss was going to be tough one way or another

I thought the loss would be to probably Ole Miss. We might have one more loss on the schedule.

After Clemson, I hoped for 5-0 but realistically settled on 4-1.
I really wanted, hoped, and prayed that we'd pull out a win in Oxford, but worried that the ultra-hostile environment and constant, negative press for the previous weeks might affect our team quite a bit.
And it did. But I'm proud of them shaking it off in the 2nd, and damn-near pulling out a win when it looked like they were cooked.
I'll always prefer a W to a L, but as losses go the one Ole Piss handed us wasn't as bad as it could have been, and it may end up as the catalyst the team needs in future games to keep fighting till the final whistle because there's always a chance to win.

My original assessment. I thought we would edge Ole Miss. through A&M and Clemson would be close wins. Split Bama and Texas, worried about Tennessee road game.

I like many others, I assume, had us losing to Ole Miss until we get to the big stage of Bama, Texas, and @UT. I had them losing to Texas and going 10-2 and being 7th seed in playoffs. Tit for tat, now I believe we lose to Bama and beat Texas. I still have us at 10-2 and going to playoffs to host either Utah, Wake Forest, or Iowa in first round.
I think well over half of rant had LSU at 10-2. And again, that’s going to get us in the playoffs.

10-2 prediction Ole Miss and one other loss. This way common. Still hopeful that we lose one or zero more.

I had 5-0 also. felt if we lost any games it would be to Tenn on the road or TX or AL at home. Was looking at 10-2. Still looking at 10-2. Possibly 11-1 depending on Leavitt. He's the key.

I knew LSU was going to get Ole Miss’s greatest game they’ve ever played. LSU was going to have to play flawless to win that game. Chambliss was making throws that Peyton Manning and Drew Brees would be jealous of. Ole Miss sold their souls to make sure they won the LSU game. And their defense hasn’t looked even half as good in any game this year like the LSU game. And probably won’t again.
