Who are the biggest risk on the current roster to follow frank?

Harlem Berry?
Caleb Durham?
Duce Geralds just signed but frank was the main recruiter?
Yea you may lose some relationships with Nola coaches but Kiffin can lean on CEO and ask what he needs to do to make those end roads.
Hire a few off field staffers with those relationships.
Honey Badger would be a massive get for off field staffers for a few years until we move him to on field staffers when Blake gets his big job.

There's two players on this roster that can't really be replaced and that's Pickett and Green. It's not a coincidence those two were given the Nike NIL deals. Anyone else follows him and we're fine.

Probably both RBs if Lacy were to follow Kiffin to LSU.

I don’t think we lose both. I think berry stays. He’s still playing for LSU and grew up here and getting paid.

New Orleans isn’t the only part of the state that has good players.

All the NOLA players we wanted in this class signed knowing Frank was gone. The 2027 5-star from NOLA has been committed to Texas for weeks.
Frank has extremely little value nowadays, that much is obvious.

Unfortunately it's the part of the state where it's star players apparently need full time babysitters at college, and the local HS coaches decide who is "worthy" of being coaches at said colleges

He’s not bigger than the program, but that’s bullshite.
As far as retaining commits, LSU benefitted with the timing of this more than anything.

Berry committed to LSU. I don’t think he’s going anywhere. He should be our featured back next year unless Lacy joins the ranks.

It helps to have NOLA connections on the staff. It's not as crucial as it used to be but it's still important. Hopefully we still have someone tied in or that can get tied in.

Berry's HS Coach has been telling people he is going wherever Frank goes

Wilson does not just close on New Orleans prospects. Seems to be a big misconception.

The Nike NIL will be college football’s franchise tag.

Kiffin is going to shatter records with Harlem Berry. Just wait. It’s coming.

I agree totally. But New Orleans seems to be a place where his skills are less easily replaced. The NOLA recruiting landscape has always been built on relationships.

I really really want to believe you.

At the end of the day, people get caught up in the NIL portion of it. But the logo and relationships still matter. Frank was great at fostering relationships and selling the program but it’s someone else’s turn now.

What’s the big deal? Durham had a decent freshman season and has been wildly irrelevant since then with a few random long runs but nothing game breaking.
