No1 recruiting class 10yrs running, not so much as a sniff from the ncaa!!! Ole miss has a couple top 5 classes, investigated, coach fired , sanctioned, ............

You have guys at Bama that can play right now for any team in the country gonna sit and wait 2 yrs or more because they love Bama and Nick Saban, BS!!!!!! I don’t believe that for a second.

Good friend runs the ncaa, sec office full of Bama alumni down the road from you, nothing to see here move along.

Best team money can buy.

Maybe the Pope Can excommunicate his arse for taking that job? If Saban has a Catholic soul, that might do it. Does he have a Soul? Who the hell this side of death knows? Only God knows.

Yeah, it's like when Tiger dominated, and everyone else was playing for second place, except In the SEC West, you're playing for third or fourth in the SEC.

Now, they’ve got an elite QB and a defense that may be a tad down, but not by much. Good luck to anyone beating this team while Tua is there

Tuna is a good QB but not elite. Seriously.

Our defence was gas by the 3rd and down 3 scores.

Saban had a great defensive scheme for last night and LSU could not counter due to a mixture of personnel, coaching and gameplay. We were limited to what we could do with a QB with less than 6 months on campus, a semi healthy OL and average WR play at best.

I think a team with a good defence and an offense that can score makes Bama bearable. We just had one of two of the above.

Tua is elite. If you think otherwise, you are really not smart.

Yep. Everyone playing for 2nd place. It's sad really, the NCAA has allowed this to happen

What are they supposed to do? Ban Saban from coaching?

Tua is elite for bama/college football, not so much in the pros I'm willing to bet.

Bama qb < nfl qb over the years

Agreed, Look at Sabans press conference from this past week where he says I hope we elect to kick arse. If that is not one miserable SOB then i don't know who is. He looks like he wishes he were anywhere else.

BINGO- skip's ego prevented at least 8 more natty's for us in fb. All you jackasses think about that before you praise his dumbass because he dominated a 2nd rate sport no one gives a FLUCK about 30 feet off of our campus. Because bertman walked on water around here, he was able to win the pissing contest with saban, and now we are stuck with a B program on the gridiron. I'm not bitter about this though.

Well we play college football, so if he is only elite in college, then he was elite the entire time LSU played him.

Just like they changed the recruiting rules after Bear, they will do the same when Saban leaves.

They are not great x and o coaches, they just had charisma and able to find the loop hole in recruiting. I doubt what Saban is going is outside the rules, but I’m sure it violates the spirit of fair play.

I don’t know how you would implement measures in CFB to increase parity but it seems like it should be done.

A start is to eliminate conference interference and subsistance to select teams they favor. The business side of CFB will not be hurt by disparities. Half the fans in Baton Rouge for instance don't show up for normal games, but the place is packed for the one team we have no chance of beating.

Bama will be legit for the foreseeable future. They recruit at a high level. It appears that kids no longer care about immediate playing time, and being part of something new. Bama gets 5 star athletes that are ok with sitting the bench for a year or 2 and collecting rings, and even worse, they have 1st round draft picks that elect to come back for their senior season after already winning national championships. Just the way it is, and until we can stack 4 & 5 star kids on LSU’s roster to have elite 1st and 2nd string athletes, nothing will change. Hell, bamas scout team would Make it a close game with any team they play.

In all seriousness. Saban has ruined college football. He will go down as the greatest coach of all time but he is not good for college football.

College Football is now as lifeless and boring as a Nick Saban press conference. Used to be anyone could step up, have a great year and win a title. CFB was full of possibilities every year. Now - unless you can afford a $20m a year staff, 20 consultants and an unlimited recruiting budget, you have no chance.

Yes - the OP is right. Saban has ruined the fun of the college game.
