As long as Bama can get to the Championship Round without even having to play in the SEC CG - they have no incentive to schedule harder. Bama has won two titles when they didn’t play in the SEC CG. They’ll keep loading up on patsies until it will one day cost them - then they’ll change. Saban has everyone believing they deserve a shot at the title even if they lost in week 12. Benefit of the doubt....

Its only the SEC refs job to make sure you get to the playoffs. After that you gotta perform. SEC refs are worth 7-10 pts for Bama on a regular season game.

I agree it was a great game. We had every opportunity to win the game and should have. At this point we gotta know better than to leave a game close enough for SEC refs to screw it up.

They’re not going to review the call or ever even address it again. Just like that blown call on the Miss St. TD from 3 weeks ago. They don’t care about if its right or not. Its CYA time.

01/09 was probably the worst thing that I’ve seen in 50 years of watching LSU. Not just because we lost a title game, but because we never tried to win it. No adjustments, no creativity, nothing. 60 minutes of total futility to end the season for one of the best Tiger teams ever. It was a crushing loss.

Since then Bama has our football program totally psyched out. We play every game just waiting for the catastrophe to happen. The more conservative we get as we try to not make the big mistake, the easier it is for Saban. I honestly do not think there is a single coach on the staff that has any idea how to beat Saban. Or if there is one, no one listens to them.

I still watch and enjoy the games where the refs don’t make themselves the story, but I know going in we’re not playing for titles. Its still a lot more fun that it was back in the Hallman days when the best hope was just not to be embarrassed.

We’re still waiting for them to comment on screwing MSU out of a TD 3-4 weeks ago.

Maybe I’m seeing things but looks like Battle got a pretty good right on Jimbo Jr.

When Miles was let go, I was in favor of making a change. The offense had gotten stale and Les refused to change anything. Now were two years into a coach no one else wanted and the offense is still bad. I don’t hear anything that sounds like the coach is looking to make a change. How is that better than what we had before.

Saban, Mullen, and Jimbo are on our schedule every year. What are we doing to get better, to be ready for that challenge? If the answer is nothing, we’re accepting 9-3 as a ceiling.
