Is finishing #5 the best for CFB Playoff

Posted by Sandtrap on 12/6/25 at 12:12 pm
As great as a bye sounds, I want to host a home playoff game. Finishing #5 means you are likely playing one of the worst at-large teams or an automatic qualifier from a lower conference. Win that and your QF against the lowest ranked team with a bye. Obviously, have to play 1-seed after that, but still think hosting a game is worth it.

With the portal, it’s not going to ever be a complete rebuild. While I agree we need to keep a lot of players, I think the three above are must-keeps in my opinion.

He has had some drops, but he has also made some really good plays for us this year. Given the right coaching, I think he could be unstoppable.

Must-keep players for next year

T. Green and H. Berry need to be kept on this team moving forward. Both are playmakers and difference makers in the right offense.

Defensively, you have to hold onto Pickett.

I know there are others, but these 3 stand out right now.
The Pitt QB (Holstein) is legit as well. Him or Leavitt would be huge pickups. At one point, Holstein was at Bama and is from Louisiana.
Maybe so, but without Coach O we don’t have 2019, so that one year was worth all the other shite in my opinion. We won with Les Miles as well. The talent is here. Different now because of NIL, but we should always have a steady base of players able to compete in top half of SEC.

I don’t think it’s unrealistic to expect/want LSU to make the playoff 3 of 5 years. There are certainly more than one coach that is capable. Hopefully, we find the right fit.
Thanks for this info! Much appreciated!

YouTube TV vs Hulu (watching on phone)

One thing I have noticed about watching Hulu on my phone vs YouTube TV is that the picture is not nearly as clear on Hulu. Even on WiFi at my house it isn’t great on my cell. Beats not having it at all, but would’ve thought Hulu would still have good quality on mobile devices.

If we take a chance on a young guy, this is my #1 choice. He says a lot of things that I like. Out-working other teams and being better prepared than competition are first and foremost.
He is in his 6th year and yesterday was his first win against a ranked opponent on the road. That is bad. No matter how you slice it.
Yesterday was his first win against a ranked opponent on the road. Let that sink in before you’re ready to go all-in on a guy who failed at USC and Tennessee as a head coach.
Tickets are piggybacks on rows 28 and 29.

Drop your email or number for text if interested.
There were tons of emergency vehicles. Seems like more than just a normal car accident. Hoping no one got hit while they were running/walking.

What’s going on? Cop cars, fire trucks, and ambulances.

Prefer LSU section.
Looking for something to film soccer and/or football games. Anyone have any experience with anything that works with your phone like the XBot Go?

Would also consider having 4 in one spot and 4 in another. Looking to spend $200-250 per ticket.
Any particular doctor you suggest?

Appreciate the response. I’ll keep you posted. Might be a little more than those guys want to spend.
