don’t believe that kid has mental issues. That’s an excuse that gets thrown out there every time a young person misbehaves or under performs now.

He has confirmed schizophrenia. A lot of people still think as you do though about mental illness in general, which is sad. Gladly that's dying out.

Stan Humphries played 10 years in the league, took the chargers to their only Super Bowl. And threw the longest TD pass in NFL history.

True, sadly the stigma hangs over the afflicted person and they don’t want meds. I could give a shite. It makes me better to the friends and family around me. I can’t fix my younger years but I can put up with myself and the side affects of the meds for them.

Rick Clausen-- former LSU QB. He transferred to Tenn and two years later came to Tiger Stadium and beat his former team

A similar player to Hicks was Phil Loadholt. He signed with us, but couldn't get eligible, ended up at OU and had a successful pro career.

Nobody gives a shite what you believe. Hes a grown man, his parents can’t make decisions for him anymore.

But shout out Lindsey Scott Jr., 2022 Walter Payton award winner, broke the FCS record with 60 passing TDs

If the rumors are true and that kid could've gone the Ivy route, he's a very dumb smart kid for not doing that.

I've said it before. The masses are so employee-minded, that they believe that an ivy league education comes with some type of guarantees.

2023 article in business insider said it best.

An Ivy League degree won't boost your salary much compared to a good state school, a study finds. You're just more likely to have an elite-sounding job.

Unless you know what a guy's goals are, you can't know where this decision fit. Will he ever work for any one? Will he run his own business? Start a tech company? Going into broadcasting?

Most have been busts after transferring (Max Johnson, TJ Finley, et al) but watching Trey Palmer got me thinking of this. I'd have to say it's him. Second would be Kelvin Joseph who got drafted and played for Cowboys (I think?).

Finley threw for 3500 yards last season. Hardly a bust.

Most LSU players graduate into the abyss. Very few go to the pros.

Why the downvotes on Quinn?

Quite a few posters are still pissed about a third down drop against Bama (the second supposed drop was a shitty pass by Jennings, as usual).

Malachi Dupre should get equal hate in that case considering he was ridden out of bounds every possession and was a consistent non factor.

Remember how hard rantards melted when Bech transferred? That was funny.
