Most have been busts after transferring (Max Johnson, TJ Finley, et al) but watching Trey Palmer got me thinking of this. I'd have to say it's him. Second would be Kelvin Joseph who got drafted and played for Cowboys (I think?).

Koy Moore had a huge hand in LSU beating Auburn in ‘22.
Played a big part in Alabama beating Auburn in ‘23.

of course he was playing for Auburn in both games.

Justin McMillan wound up having a solid couple of years at Tulane. Those Tulane teams were the step toward getting to where they are today.

Currently, Trey Palmer probably although Kelvin Joseph is probably the highest draft pick (2nd round).

Tyron Johnson has had a surprisingly lengthy NFL career despite going undrafted.

I’d imagine Dwight McGlothern or Landon Jackson might have a shot next year

Neither Max Johnson nor TJ Finley were really busts. They both started for 2 SEC teams, which says they outperformed their talent level. That's not busts, they just were never that talented. Our QB recruiting at that time was pretty weak. I never really thought either would start for LSU, much less another SEC team.

Now that is a bust. I know he has mental issues, but what a waste of talent. Saw him play in high school and he earned every bit of the hype. Promising freshman year, then nothing.

Define success - is it making it to the NFL or just having success at next stop?

Lindsey Scott Jr set records at the FCS level, but wasn't a legit pro prospect.

Well, in all fairness, didn't Eli Ricks play a pivotal role when LSU beat Alabama?

However, Rick Clausen, pre-transfer portal .

Often, mental health issues materialize in the 18-21 year age range. I witnessed it a couple of times with people I grew up with. Arik has a full blown personality disorder and should likely spend a bunch of time in a mental health facility until he figures out a regimen of medicine and therapy that works for him.

Sadly, as is the case more times than not, he'll likely go untreated or poorly treated and end up in prison for a long time. Or homeless.

Might be Palmer currently.

But shout out Lindsey Scott Jr., 2022 Walter Payton award winner, broke the FCS record with 60 passing TDs

If its success at the next stop, hard to argue against leading the nation in receptions, breaking a school record, All-AAC/All-American, etc. like Quinn did.

Palmer is off to a great start in the NFL. Good to see him making plays.

Tyron did well at Ok St too and had some success in the NFL.
