More facts you may not know:
Keith played his first 2 seasons at UNC-Asheville. During his sophomore campaign, he was 2nd in the nation with a 93% FT rating. His head coach at UNCA decided to retire and Keith explored his possibilities of transferring. He was very confident in his ability to play at a top level program as LSU was not on his list of schools to play for.
Keith visited New Mexico and he was asked to walk-on since they did not have an extra scholarship. Before leaving NM, asst coach LaMont Smith advised Keith he would call some friends in the profession to help him out. Hornsby then visited with HC Steve Fisher @ San Diego State but didn’t feel comfortable with the way he would have been used. Keith was at a cross-roads and still uncertain where he was gonna play CBB. A week later, LaMont Smith delivered on his promise by calling Keith confirming he spoke with David Patrick and LSU was interested in bringing him in for a visit. The rest is LSU BB history.
Keith married a girl from Lafayette who attended St. Thomas More. In between Euro basketball seasons, he is frequently seen practicing BB at Reds and STM.
And now you know …. That’s just the way it is

I believe he also hit a big shot vs UGA in the Double OT game. If memory serves right it was within the last minute or so of the 1st OT when the Tigers were down 2+ scores.
Edit: my mistake. That was Gray and Quarterman. Keith scored early and went cold the rest of the game. Hit two big free throws (out of four) in the 2nd OT though.

another unknown fact, he's going to be playing with this guy, and no this isn't fake.
and good for Hornsby. Sounds awesome to get to travel the world playing the game you love. And he seems to be tearing it up over there, shooting near 50% from 3 in Europe.

I am the biggest Bruce Hornsby fan there is. Back from 1986. But it’s not like Keith and his bride will be broke if basketball doesn’t work out.
