Not even close to some of the most heartbreaking losses.

we did. once. stop repeating lies out of ignorance
we did cross midfield one time, with under 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Ran a total of 4 plays in Bama territory.

It's quite easy for most fans to think we never crossed midfield because our offense was an abomination that night. No need for you to call the poster "ignorant" and a "liar."

I was literally sick and contemplating suicide while stuck in traffic on Nicholson after the Monday night, Madonna headset, Calling a timeout after a pick. Wasting a shot at a chip shot FG before half to take 24-0 halftime lead. Rick Clausen dinkn' and dunkn' debacle. After blowing a 21 point lead to some srubs who flew in right before game time. That and the fake punt pass out of our end zone on Miles 1st possession as HC of the Fightin' Tigers was a harbinger of things to come. Having said that, Miles goes 4-1 at worst in last 5 season openers.

omg i was there and remember that choke job well. dumbass did not realize the madonna/britney spears headset would not keep out the noise in TS. he used it the previous game at arizona state. there was no noise there like TS. he had to shitcan it after that tenner game. fans were pissed leaving the stadium that monday night. they were yelling " LES IS LESS"

the postgame radio show was like a morgue. miles did not know wtf to say.

blew a 21-0 lead. despicable.

I take what I said back, the most embarrassed I ever been was when we couldn’t cross the 50 yard line at midfield against Bama in the NC

before I get nailed to the cross for leaving out a irrelevant detail, we eventually did cross the 50 lmao

2014 versus Bama. Thought we had that game in the bag but no, we snatched it out of defeat.

That game was a long time ago, and my memory isn't as good as it used to be. But seeing how a few folks here have made that statement, and seeing how I seem to remember that LSU did cross midfield, I looked it up.

According to the play-by-play coverage on the ESPN website, LSU crossed midfield one time. According to ESPN, LSU reached midfield with roughly 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter on a 7 yard run by Kenny Hillard. On the next play, Jordan Jefferson ran 18 yards to put the ball at Alabama's 32 yard line. Granted, it's nothing to brag about. But this "LSU never crossed the 50" is just total bullshite.

Thanks. I think I was blind drunk by that point. It's still the most bitter loss.

Not by a long shot. I felt much worse after Miles' losses to Bama back in '08, '12 and '14 than the loss Saturday night, or even the FSU loss in the Superdome in '22.

It's living with lowered expectations for LSU football these days. Kind of drifting in the direction of apathy, but not there yet.
