Good times man! Looked forward to them growing up!
I actually respect bama for this. No player is bigger than the brand . No numbers should be retired.
Thx u for saying this. Not a lot of people recognize that LSU is bigger than the player.Maybe it’s our age but income from an era where Players gave all thanks and credit to their I overshoot for providing them the opportunity it’s to get where they are today. Diffrent times I guess..
If it were the #1 incoming freshman QB who wanted to wear it, I bet nobody on here would have a problem lol. To me retiring numbers in college sends a bad message. It’s saying players are bigger than the LSU brand, and it shouldn’t be that way
It’s not an issue of whether or not it’s a heisman who wore the number. It’s college, if you start retiring numbers you’re sending the message that players are bigger than the LSU brand.

Second, if it were, for example, the number 1 qb in the country wanting to wear #5, o guarantee most of you here would change your opinion.
Is the full schedule out? I’m intrested to see if any teams will play us? One thing I know is he won’t schedule like a pussy l, which is one thing that really bothered me about Mcman.
Ya it is wild, something that has been happening since John Wooden at UCLA. They tried to make an example out of LSU cause we are not a blue blood and hasn’t really been a basketball powerhouse.them beating the Kentucky and Tennessee’s of the world had them all crying.
I think all this media hate comes from one thing, Fear. These ppl tried to end Wade’s coaching career and failed. They did this out of fear and spite because he was beating the kentuckys of the world and taking their recruits as well. And in their attempts to run him out of the sport they failed, and now he’s back, and more motivated than ever and they are panicking because they see the storm comming their way. I’m loving it cause In their failed attempt to drive him away., now they must reap what they sow.
Sweet 16 with or without him. I’d love to have him but but even without him we should be talented to enough to make the sweet 16 and more.
First half was comical with fouls, UConn thinned out, Michigan is the better team but call the game right and make them earn it. I’m a big Hurley fan and will admit Michigan at its best is better than UConn at its best this year, but let’s see them earn it so I can appreciate it more.

No, a miss is not a blunder in my opinion, in the UConn game the right play was made and the shot gave them a chance to win, if he misses he misses, but the chance to be successful was correct cause the right pass gave him the opportunity to even have a chance.

re: UNC to hire Michael Malone

I personally think not was a great hire and exactly who they wanted it to be. Since Hubert a lot of the baby blue nation wanted to re-emphasize Carolina’s play thru the big men and Malone checks off the boxes here. Anyone worried about recruiting shouldn’t, the brand sells itself. In an interview with Tyler hamdsborough it sounds like this has been a done deal since Friday and who they wanted. I know there a lot of ppl who wanted Billy Donovan but there are alot of uncertainties there and May not have even been possible. I’m curious to watch these guys play next year. Mainly I wanna see if he keeps that secondary break tempo or goes to a more traditional and balanced tempo, guess we shall see!

Your 100 percent right, protecting the paint, extra possessions, 2nd chance points

Big Men

It’s crazy to me how dumb some ppl on here are when they argue that Big men don’t matter, yet they sit here and watch final four and act like the final four hasn’t been dominated by bigs. Not just this year, but at least the last 5-7 years.
Exactly, get players that get your system and your area regardless of how many starts by their name. UConn is famous for this, no pre/madonna’s on a Hurley team. All coachable and buy into a system.

Finesse team vs physicalteam, even if they do have more talent, which they don’t, this is usually what happens in this kinda match up
I’d really like if he went out and got the point guard from Mcnease
First, right call or not Duke deserved to win that game, we got out played and out coached .
Second, illegal screens, holds and minor violations are never gonna be called at the end of the game, kinda like a Hail Mary in football, pass ineference ain’t being called. So as a player you have to know and expect this,
Last, this is what happens when ya leave your feet on every three duke shoots. I’d bet if she ran at her hands up that shot doesn’t go in, but we jumped at every shot from first quarter to the 4th and in the end, us not being disciplined enough got us.
96 Kentucky easy, best I’ve ever seen. I go back and forth with them and UNLV as best team ever
