So it has happened twice in the last 20 years under both saban and miles, but O's floor should be 11-1. Lmao. Agenda much?
How is it an “agenda” to expect a season better than last year when you are returning as much as we are (especially at the QB position) and adding in the best duo of running backs in the past class?

Lol national titles are supposed to be the agenda but when your job is to protect the coach instead of pulling for the actual program these are the types of stupid comments you get.

Oklahoma scored over 3xs more against Alabama than we have in the last 3 games.
Preseason top 25 aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. But if you want to go by rankings, we’re ranked higher than 4/5 of those teams so again we should be favored.
Plus Auburn isn’t going to be good. They’re Offense was trash last year, then they lost Stidham and their OC:
Florida wasn’t that good last year.
If our offense shows up they’re a 9-4 team with an arse beating from Mizzou on their record. And we have them at home
A&M isn’t that good. Again if we’re 100% going into that game we crush them.
And I think Texas is a year away. Lost almost their entire defense.

My floor for coach O is for him to win the games LSU is favored to win. Last year that was 7 games. He won 9. He exceeded my expectations. This year LSU is favored to win 11, so my floor is 11 games.

Anything less than 10 wins is an absolute failure.
With that being said, we need to be showing progress. 10 wins and being destroyed by Bama again will be unacceptable.

All these people saying 11-1 are insane

11-2 post bowl. 9-3 regular season would be a disgrace.

10 - 2 is a must since we fired Les for not consistently achieving that mark.

No way fo knowing. You don’t know how the season will unfold game to game

10-2. That should either get us a playoff or Major Bowl. Hard to complain about that.
Posted on 7/2/19 at 10:13 pm to Stingley Island
I'm not okay with more than 2 losses, bowl season included. 3 losses would not be moving in the right direction, given the schedule and what we're returning.

I'm looking for 11 & 1 with a playoff berth.

10-2 has to be the regular season floor only for the simple fact that if you compare talent across the SEC we would have to be top 3 with Bama and Georgia. On top of that we don’t play Georgia this year. I wouldn’t say 9-3 is totally unacceptable but the bowl game is a must win because 9-4 will be a fireable offense

10-2 is our floor and borderline under achieving with this team.

10-2 is ok not great not bad but good. Anything better is great and is should be what we expect this season.
I wouldn’t be ok with 9-3 unless lots of things went wrong that couldn’t be controlled by our coaches. Like injuries and such. A game like A&M doesn’t happen all that often so I don’t suspect anything like that again. I just don’t see how Florida, Auburn, State and A&M can keep up with LSU this year. Texas is another where they have some good players but are about where we were last year team wise.
Of course anything can happen in football but I’m hoping that Aranda and this new coach can become something special together and have this team clicking from game 1 on. We’ve faced teams like Texas before so it’s nothing new to us but you better believe that they will throw the kitchen sink at us to win at their home field. We need to be aware and ready for that while also throwing our own aggressive style at them. Surprise, this is the new LSU!!! Have them running all over the field and on their toes from the first series.

Yeah really it's fricking exhausting. I feel like I used to enjoy college football more when it wasn't beaten in to my head over and over that every game is just an audition for the head coach

nothing less than 10-2. But we have a legit shot at 11-1 and that should be the goal

It's funny how many expect and demand "excellence" from LSU, but they predict 11-1. We all know the offensive and defensive lines can't compete with Bama...thus, excellence for LSU is 11-1.
