You’re too ignorant to know that it wasn’t Wade being tapped or that the recordings were inadmissible.

"Inadmissible" where? We are talking about the NCAA, NOT A COURT OF LAW.

Circumstantial at best

And people are convicted in US courts EVERY DAY based solely on circumstantial evidence! AND....the NCAA is NOT a court of law and therefore does not operate with the same standard of evidence/proof.

Bro if the NCAA doesn’t have proof and just says this happened then LSU has one of the largest legal case in history

Good luck to LSU with that.
Try finding a jury that thinks WW's wiretapped words (in the context of that conversation) referred to a normal, run of the mill scholarship.

It could have just been a scholarship.

Some would say that a free education is a damn strong offer.

The offer was a full scholarship plus early playing time.

Strong indeed.

Delusional.
BTW....I'm sure the NCAA agrees with your assumption as well...

I loved my time at LSU

Full scholarship? There is no stronger offer

Fact

Delusional.

Based on the lack of evidence

What do you call the FBI wiretap?
Whenever someone's argument fails, they resort to name-calling. Very predictable.

Basically, you avoided Alt26 questions when he asked you about all of the other teams included in the report.

I don't know anything about those "other teams." At this point, I am more concerned about cleaning OUR house.

Do you know for sure, exactly what was meant by the “offer”?

The most important part of this is that the NCAA knows (based on the context of the conversation).
quote:

He may not be innocent but he ain't guilty.

What?? WW confessed to making an offer (obviously not a scholarship). The act of making an "offer" IS A VIOLATION OF NCAA RULES. No need for a canceled check, recorded phone call, etc.

Proof shows what the act was. As long as there is no proof, what you are talking about is deniable.

You must be dense.........The NCAA does not need/require "proof." The NCAA is not a court of law. They already have a lot of circumstantial evidence against WW. BTW.....many, many, many people across the US are CONVICTED with only circumstantial evidence.

So you think a Boy Scout Coach is going to come in here and have us competing at the level Wade is in so short a time?

I have no idea. It is Woodward's job to find a quality coach who operates with ethics and standards we expect. Your "binary" choice is not realistic. I would rather lose with an ethical coach than win with a cheater. I understand that you disagree....and that is a character issue for you to deal with.

blue blood coaches would make Wade look like a saint.

Maybe/Maybe not. I don't know...and you don't either.

That was never and omission of wrongdoing btw.

Yes, it is. WW "made an offer." He bragged about it. There is no doubt about what he was talking about. The "act" of making an offer is a violation of NCAA rules. There is no requirement for a canceled check, recording of a phone call that has someone accepting, etc. The ACT of MAKING AN OFFER IS ENOUGH!

Your right!!!! No need to wait for the actual evidence to come out.

Yea....actual evidence like WW's own words. You are delusional. How can you ignore/justify WW's words on the FBI wiretap? WW confessed.

Yeah, let’s bring back Johnny. We’ll only win 2 conference games a year, average about 1500 people in the PMAC, and not even be a footnote in the national picture year after year, but we’ll have our ethics.

So, just to be clear, your ONLY choices are:
1. Employ an unethical coach, or
2. Johnny Jones and a losing record.
You are very sad.

How long have you been on Vitale's payroll? Or is it Brown's? Or is it Bahnsen's? Your endless venom is nauseating.

What venom? Pointing out the actions of an unethical coach (by using his own words) is not venom.....it's the truth!

Fine. As long as you're content with us being medicore.

I don't believe that. We CAN have a successful program with an ethical coach.

If you’re honestly driven by “ethics” then why are you condemning someone without proof

The proof is the FBI wiretap. WW's own words. He confessed.

That’s the opposite of ethical behavior on your part.

The opposite of ethical behavior is what YOU are doing.....defending unethical behavior.

All the good coaches are cheating

I refuse to believe that "all" of the good coaches are cheating. There is NO EVIDENCE to suggest that ALL good coaches are cheating.
