What record would you be "okay" with this year?

Not what you're predicting.
What's your floor of what this team should achieve in your opinion?
I'd say 10-2. This is the verdict year on Coach O. 9-3 and we have to start thinking about a succesor. All the pieces are there.

10-2 is the floor. 9-3 and time to move on. Those saying 11-1 in regular season are a joke. That's been done once, maybe twice in lsu's history? Not saying that it won't happen, but making that the floor is ignorant, and agenda driven.

I think that we should all freak out now. Start demanding results now without seeing how the season plays out. Ideally, the hysteria should continue to build as the season approaches, and then reach fever pitch once the season begins. I invite the usual suspects to tirelessly debate why Ed should/shounldn't be fired.

The schedule should be easier. It will probably factor into how we look in the games we should win and how we play in the ones where we are on the road against equivalent talent.
We had plenty of 10 win seasons with Miles where some of those wins were more frustrating than losses.

Spoiled much????? 10-2 I would be fine with and a NY6 bowl win.... unless you are Bama it’s very hard to go through the SEC with only one loss..... fans are expecting too much .

I would be ok with 10-2 but I would feel like we missed our mark. 11-1 is the expectation for this team.
