I know it's not reality, but if CLK didn't go all out and go to the airport to make sure SL was going to be a Tiger we would be in a totally different situation right now. And they have a great defense and are winning with mediocre QBs. They would possibly be undefeated right now.

Heupel is responsible for at least 2 head scratching losses a year with how he manages a game late and he did exactly that last weekend. I doubt they'd be undefeated.

Who cares. He’s with us now and we’re about to make a run and be the SEC’s daddy for a while.

To be fair, you could probably say the same for Kiffin, outside of last year.

If we want to play what ifs? What if Ole Miss had lost the playoff game with Georgia, then Chambless would be the LSU QB and Lacey would be the LSU running back. We would be undefeated and on track for a NATTY, But that did not happen

The masses are downvoting and the replies are ferocious, but the Vols two-headed “attack” of Faizon Brandon-George MacIntyre is exactly the reason why they lost two three-point games. And to add, we play Tennessee this year. So it’s reasonable to ask if A) Sam Leavett would have been enough for Tennessee to come out on top in their two narrow defeats and B) to ponder what the effect of Sam Leavett in a Tennessee uniform would have been on our O had we been required to prepare for the November game without him on our team, and the effect on our D had Blake Baker been required to prepare to play against him.

What if Bill Arnsparger doesn’t leave for UF, thus no Mike Archer experiment, and certainly no Curley Hallman implosion / Great Depression.

If Sam made the mistake and went to Tennessee that fat fricking HC would have ruined him.

What if Green doesn't get hurt in the Ole Piss game? IMO I think LSU wins.

I entertain myself envisioning Sam explaining his complex health routine to heupel up at a whiteboard while heupel is at his desk smashing a couple of Five Guys doubles with a shake.
