re: If we don’t get Robinson for DL coach
Posted by TigerPlate on 12/15/25 at 6:37 am to chadr07
Agree if he was coming to LSU he would have already announced.
Other coaches out there who would jump at the opportunity. LSU can afford to pay the right person. I do not want Robinson now. Let him go to Knee Braska.

smart play for underwood would be to take less NIL money and get into a pass oriented offense that could develop his talents to make a successful career in the NFL Michigan is not that place. Guessing his family figured 12 million invested wisely would provide a steady income source for very long time. Short term gain vs much greater long term rewards. They chose the quick fix.
re: How many murders/terrorist attacks should be allowed before people get banned from places?

How about deporting the people that want to keep the immigrants that are rapist, child molesters, murders, gang members, and terrorist in our country. They harm US citizens and usurp our financial resources.

NO NO O please. I cringe when I remember him representing the LSU tigers in front of the media. Only thing I liked was when he would shout GO TIgas! His lack of ability showed both on the field and off. His TJ Friday show was a total laugh in show. Why would LSU want to hire a guy they just spent millions to get rid of. I think Lane has better judgement than to hire this guy. At least I hope so..
re: The NDAA passed the House. Do you believe if Trump vetoed it the Ukraine war would end?
Posted by TigerPlate on 12/13/25 at 9:39 am to High C
Ukraine is piggybank for all kinds of political money laundering. Billions of dollars funneled into all kinds of suspicious backdoor channels. Biden was getting payouts from the beginning. Corrupt Ukrainian officials also on the take,, This could be handled differently with a better outcome for Ukraine if the Europeans would give them the armament needed to strike Putin and Russian assets deep inside of Russia. Knock out the Russian Oil capacity and the funding for the war goes away. Reminds me of Nam with fighting a war with hands tied behind your back. McNamara would not allow bombing the North to the extent needed to defeat the North VC.

Do you not believe these drug operations are multinational? do you also not believe that getting Maduro out of Venezuela and establishing Maria Corina as a pro US president would not be beneficial for US interest.
Transnational organized crime poses an increasingly serious threat to public safety, democratic governance and state legitimacy in Latin America. Once primarily concentrated in countries like Mexico and Colombia, criminal networks have recently expanded into new regions such as Ecuador, Peru and Chile, integrating themselves both geographically and institutionally.
US has to establish control of our backyard. Not letting these Cartels and China influence themselves any longer in the region is key to our own securtiy.

Are you clairvoyant? Is that how you know the destination for these boats. I am able to tell you with confidence that if they are loaded with drugs, there destination is definitely Davy Jones's locker.
Could you please give me the lottery numbers for the one billion dollar drawing Saturday? .

re: Is it time to talk about a couple of SC Justices retiring?
Posted by TigerPlate on 12/13/25 at 7:21 am to deltaland
My problem is with the backfires, like Honorable John Roberts, who had all these notable conservative credentials .After being appointed he turned out not to be as conservative as we had hoped. Seems the Republicans are not always great at judging who is truly a conservative Constitutionalist judge. We can not afford a error of judgement of this magnitude again,
re: Does anyone actually want Bryce Underwood now?
Posted by TigerPlate on 12/13/25 at 7:13 am to Reagan80
Unmistakable the guy has talent and skills. These talents need to be developed. Lane is the guy that can turn Underwood into a Heisman candidate and first rounder. The question is the cost benefit analysis.
Sam Leavitt got two years of eligibility left and has equally good credentials. LSU is in competition with Miami for his services. Lane will evaluate and make the right call. IN Lane I trust! Doesn't this seem like trying to pick the winning thoroughbred horse for the Derby.

re: Do the assistant coaches have agents like the head coaches do?

So by your enlightened explanation and experience do you think analyst also have agents. How about the rest of the multitude of employees of the LSU sports operation?

Believe it or not I asked the question because I figured this was a place where knowledgeable people could answer questions correctly. So much bull when you do a search and no guarantee you get a accurate answer. I think I got a really good explanation of how it all works which is exactly what i wanted. I got a thick hide what some bullshite guy on the board has to say as criticism of the question is meaningless to me. The thing that makes me wonder a little is why does it matter enough for him to waste time writing a response.
re: Court blocks immigration officials from re-detaining Abrego Garcia
Posted by TigerPlate on 12/12/25 at 10:34 am to Judnnc
when you are in control of the government house, senate, executive you make the rules. When you control the justice department you decided what rules are enforced. That is how it worked when Biden was in office. The cabinet members and the AG and DA did whatever they pleased. Biden ignored the Supreme Court rulings on Student loans with no repercussions.

The mistake was bringing him back into the country after he was deported. Done to make a showcase trial of prosecuting him.
So can we get some photos of him getting his margarita at Mexican restaurant. So who is financially supporting him? He has no income from being gainfully employed. Maybe take a look at his tax return HA HAH.
Yes illegal immigrants are required to pay income tax. If he has not filed a return then there are grounds to audit his finances and see where the money is coming from. OK maybe this is thinking outside the box but I tired of this guy getting a free ride and gaming the system.

so my question is does LSU negotiate with an agent for Elijah Robinson services? Or is it brokered with Lane Kiffin making an offer to hire him as D-line coach. Uncertain as how this works? I am wondering if he got the LSU offer and then went shopping around to use it as a bargaining chip to see who else would want his services. I figure it is natural for any job hunt to see what the best offer and fit for the person seeking employment. Are these offers open ended without specific time line to accept? Or is their a time frame where you have to get a yes or no answer. I have not heard of any next up potential hire. So that makes me wonder why not?

I would think they would be loyal to Lane. We will see when portal opens. LSU got the bucks and if the QB gets another year look out.
re: Judge orders Abrego Garcia’s immediate release from ICE custody
Posted by TigerPlate on 12/11/25 at 10:47 am to Undertow
Take this guy to Guantanamo Bay. Release him in Havana. All is well that ends well. Courts can not force ICE to return him as he is no longer in ICE custody. Cuba can then do with him what they wish. He is not getting back in the USA.

I believe he may be a diamond in the ruff. Jayden took some coaching up before hi passings skill developed into hat of an elite level .
re: A potential solution to keep Frank Wilson
Posted by TigerPlate on 12/9/25 at 6:32 am to shinerfan
Frank is the sentimental favorite to keep on board.
If Lane decides he wants to put another person in charge of the running backs, then that is Lane's call. If Frank does not want to be retained as a recruiting coordinator, that is Franks call. These are business decisions based on objective evaluations of coaches performance or lack there of. Realistically Frank as an X&O's coach is underwhelming. I think recruiting in the NIL environment is a lot about the $$$ and less about coaching relationships. The agents have more influence with the recruitment than we can even imagine.

re: Alabama should not go to the playoffs

Moot point. Bama offense or lack thereof was exposed against Georgia. I would have given Vandy an opportunity to compete merely to reward their winning performance this season. Neither Bama or Vandy would be expected to win it all. Bama gets the nod just based on their historical past performance. Like the disclaimer on investment, past performance does not guarantee future success.
re: Trump Will Start Blasting Americans Like He’s Blowing Up Foreign Narco-Terrorists

Sure enough! Look how many Americans he blasted into oblivion in his first term. Four years of continuously Blasting Americans. It is amazing after so much destruction that there are any targets left. I think he may have run out of ammunition and thus the lull in the ongoing slaughter. The carnage is difficult to view. Wait are you for real? Surely no one is that friking stupid to believe this garbage Oh I forgot those who are demented and suffer from Trump derangement syndrome are affected.
