Is that LSU hasn't even peaked in capability and that it looks like we are seeing critical improvements each week. Kind of like Peter Parker starting to discover his superpower (yeah, nerd reference). Even with injuries - and maybe because of them - we may see a team at the end of the month that is a true juggernaut.

Well wait, are we Spiderman or Juggernaut?

Or some hybrid?

Not a boomer, chief. Curious - What, in a post expressing excitement and optimism about our team, do you find fault with? The negatigers must be awake.

Hope you're joking lol

Just in case you're serious, it's a word that existed before the comic character did.

juggernaut
noun
: a massive inexorable force, campaign, movement, or object that crushes whatever is in its path

It’s like LSU has a head coach who’s actively involved every week.

Don't mind him. He's most likely underemployed and living back home with his mom.

I'm with you on the OFFENSIVE side, definitley room to grow. Leavitt more consistent, pecking order at WR flushed out, improved IOL play.

Defensively, we're getting an outstanding product already, jsut have to stay healthy to sustain this level of ball.

You could argue (and I'd agree) the defense could get better if the offense gets better (longer drives, fewer TOs, more points) and puts the defense in more and more advantageous positions.

Like say we're up 14 in the 3rd and we can put our foot on their throats and end the game with a short field turnover or something.

In that regard, the defense could get better, sure. But generally speaking, the defense is pretty close to a finished product and offense has runway to blossom.

After the last few years of BK, it's still hard to get used to having a real coach do real coaching.

I hope what you are saying is the case. It seems that way so far. If we can get to November with no more losses and team that continues to improve, I like our Chances in that last gauntlet of tough games vs bama and the UTs.

Yeah, I have never understood the boomer thing when someone doesn't agree with your opinion, and certainly don't see anything you posted that would be 'boomerish'.

Almost as if we have a good coaching staff, right? About time

I very much does feel like a top-down thing. You only have the players that you have, and they're not all going to be five stars. But to see continuous improvement, even if it's small steps, and to see continuous adjustments...I don't know if we've seen that for a long long time (not just during BK). Maybe even going back a few head coaches. Maybe some of our excellent seasons had more to do with the right combinations of players with some assistant coaching than they had to do with the whole package being right.

Imagine what a juggernaut LSU could be with the players we can get AND the right coaching.

While you are correct, where the defense will get better is with experience at depth positions. And, frankly, we've already seen some growth there. Still much more room to grow there, though. And that growth with depth can be a huge factor down the road. It was the biggest difference in some of our past games vs Bama.

Fair, and I totally agree.

I was more speaking to our 1st team production (which depth can absolutley help sustain) but yes, loved seeing so many guys getting meaningful reps vs Mcneese last week. We're going to need some (ir not all) of those guys down the stretch.

Hope he's joking? You made a reference about Spider-Man and then you threw in juggernaut at the end. It was funny what he said. It's that simple. It was funny. Not something you need to dissect with the definition
