re: LSU Football kickoff time windows announced.

Why does it seem like whenever we play at Arkansas in the winter the game is first thing in the freaking morning?

Comment on the video:
Warren said that he did get the ball back. The guy who caught it wasn't an LSU fan but sought Warren out after the game and said, "I think you'll might want this." He said the bat was one that he only used in this game, and it is currently in the LSU hall of fame. His batting gloves were given to a boy whose family was a friend of the coach. But only a couple of years ago [like six] the boy (who's grown up now) shipped the batting gloves back to Warren.

I do like the lineup, but with the way Brown is hitting right now, shouldn't he be hitting cleanup?

Is getting this collection of individual stars to come together and become a TEAM. If that happens, we could have something special folks. But do not underestimate how difficult that is. In this era of ME…how will he get these players to think and act like WE. Excited for this class!
The teams that will be most successful going forward will be the ones who have a coach (and staff) that is good at building cohesive team spirit. You can get all the 5 stars you want if they don't play as a team, and in some cases you can get 3 and 4 stars playing as a team to beat the teams with the 5 stars (see: Indiana).
If Kiffin is good at that (and honestly I don't know if he is or not, but my impression is that he is) AND he can recruit the way he's been doing, then we are going to be a freaking force.

I bet there's some way to make up the money from the extra (12->16) playoff games.

OM is winning with an offensive staff that is mostly on loan from LSU....I think a lot of people keep forgetting that. How's that conversation going to go over on Monday, "Come here where we're a championship team....except all the coaches that are responsible for those 39 points are going to be at LSU next week." (And who knows, a couple key players that will be at LSU next week too.)
I'm glad for them, to get a taste of this. It's not going to last very long.

The transfer portal window NEEDS to move to after the CFP. Though I don’t know how that would work with the spring semester…there’s gotta be a way?
re: Brian Kelly gave LSU their worst offense, worst defense, & Special Teams seasons
Posted by ShadowTigerTX on 11/23/25 at 2:04 pm to Scoob
[embed]I'd put Kelly ahead of these guys:
Mike Archer- did tie for an SEC title (didn't go to the Sugar) and had a 10 win season, but had 2 losing seasons out of 4.
Jerry Stovall- 2 losing seasons out of 4, did get to the Orange.
DiNardo- did tie for the SEC West twice (never went to Atlanta), 2 losing seasons out of 5.
Curley Hallman- 4 seasons, all losing seasons.[/embed]
I'd put him ahead of Archer and Hallman (who I witnessed first hand) but not DiNardo.

re: Handicapped parking for LSU FB games?
Posted by ShadowTigerTX on 11/21/25 at 2:30 pm to LSUTIGAHS123
I parked there a few games ago. It is a *little* more walking than to the bus, but there's no standing and waiting for the bus (and sitting in traffic). I liked it better.
You DO have to go north on Nicholson to leave the game, but I didn't find it was any slower than going south or east if you're headed south on I10 or I12.

I want to see Perkins play hard the whole game.

I've heard it from multiple people now. Tulane grads - lots of whom are lawyers - would be very unhappy if their HC would be poached to LSU.
He's going to be moving up from Tulane anyhow, why not to LSU and keep him in-state.
These people are crazy if they think he's just going to stay at Tulane if he doesn't go to LSU.

To be fair, it was a DAMN good throw. If he had three or four of those per game it would be a whole different deal.

The first touchdown was a brilliant play. I was at the game so correct me if I’m wrong but they set up a screen and the had no intention to throw the ball. Perkins was in position and went to the screen and reed saw when he left and turned and ran to the void.
I don't see a screen on that first TD at all? The one at 84 seconds on the film?
