Pretty sure this has been discussed several times & there is no way it’s possible due to drainage

Yes...move the bullpens off the field of play...long overdue...who else does this?

What are y’all’s thoughts on moving bullpens to a nicer area beyond the fences in left and right center?
It makes sense logistically to move them but would remove the fan interaction with pitchers warming up.
I’m in the minority but I like the old school bullpens

I wouldn't count on us getting any new upgrades for baseball until basketball gets theirs. Mulkey and Wade are going to push much harder than a Paul Mainieri on the way out

Move the bullpens off the field play and behind the fence. I cringe every time a player runs over in that direction chasing a fly ball.
So true even Wrigley field moved the bull pens behind the fence. Just make a double decker bull pen in right center with a see through fence.
I still can't believe how dumb the designers where trying to copy the old box.

Move the bull pen OFF OF THE FIELD!

Yes

1. Chairbacks and suites all the way down to the foul poles.
2. Wrap around concourse and extension behind the plate.
3. Better concessions.
4. Permanent batters eye.
5. Party deck/berm.
6. Retiring No. 31 officially.
7. Changing the uniforms back to the old template so that there are no longer faux button downs and no piping.

I cringe every time I see those bullpen benches slapped together from some leftover 2x4s.

1. MOve pens to an enclosed place.
2. Raise the roof and create an upper deck over the press box and suites from right corner to left corner. Extend roof over all seating areas. Make all seating areas chairbacks.
3. Get rid of the damned bleachers from both out fields. New upper deck will more than make up for those seats.
4. Do something nice and creative with outfield areas, berms, etc.
5. Do something to get students at the games and into the games.

All your suggestions I agree with, but I would move the bullpens behind the fence somewhere, exposed bullpens to me looks cheap!!

Just so some of you can stop complaining about chair backs. A poll was taken with prominent ticket holders/donors during construction, and they were told no chair backs.

The fans were wrong if that was the original result of the poll. Sounds cheap. Chairbacks all the way around is too obvious not to do.
Im also in the group that like the bullpens where they are. Like that advantage we get on our opponents. Fans can get in their heads on occasion.

State's new ballpark has the visitors bullpen on the field. The home team bullpen is not and it's nice and spacious.

1.) Chairbacks all the way and in one uniform color.
2.) NO static permanent ads anywhere. Scrolling on-off advertising only on a board dedicated only for this purpose.
3.) Solid Batters Eye.
4.) Purple padding on out field wall, behind home plate and down the lines. LSU and SEC logo behind home plate. LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY on outfield fence. (And nothing else)
5.) Outfield bull pens.
6.) Paint the dugouts. All that scarred up raw concrete looks cheap and tacky.
7.) Put another exterior color facade on all the Alex Box FEMA Trailer units that are all along the upper level of the Grandstand.

A berm isn't needed but they desperately need to get rid of the shitty metal bleachers. Can't believe they ever even did that in the first place.
Also get the bullpens off the field and in the outfield

Baum is incredible and we’ll never have the full scope of amenities, but I’m way more annoyed at the small differences that makes Swayze so much better than the Box
360 degree concourse
A real fricking student section
All chairback
LSU could certainly afford to do that and move forward with their ambitions to elevate LSU basketball. Add in your clubhouse idea down one of the lines and you have a beautiful stadium that isn’t the best but plenty nice to win
I always wonder what the frick pawl bitches about when Dan Mcdonnell outcompetes Maineri with a mediocre facility, no private school money, and no TOPS. He’s the perfect example of recruiting and developing without vanderbilt’s scholarships or Baum Stadium

Outfield general admission grass area for families on one side and students on the other with a gap in between.
