He is far from the GOAT! That honor goes to Patrick Petersen and Tyrann Matheiu. Stingley was a good player.

I liked his contributions in 2019. I hope his injuries are behind him.

If he no longer wants to be a Tiger, bye.

Yes, he gave up a touchdown to Davonta Smith on a sort of trick play, but he also gave up the last touchdown when Smith ran right by him, then got beat like a drum by him the next year. He couldn't cover Smith in a phone booth.

He helped win a natty so he's a tiger as far as I'm concerned. Same as Chase and Marshall and anyone else who didn't make it until the end.

We spent 4-6 years recruiting this dude just for him to spend a season and a half here???

Sorry, this opting out/transfer bullshite ain’t for me. Football is and always will be a team game and I will never sympathize with people who are only about themselves

And yes, I know that horse has been beat to death, but I’m tired of it

Good player, a bit overrated because of being injury prone.

Will he always be a Tiger? Is he Ben Simmons 2.0? Or are we good with him if he kills it on Sundays?
I’m not sure what to think about him. It seems like he checked out the last 2 years. Just 1 nice tackle this year

Was proud of him in 2019 and he is still a good guy but I was disappointed in the post 19 situation and how it played out. He is catching a lot of barbs due to his Dad spouting off on some interviews.

He left a lot on the table at LSU.

He has a lifetime left to represent LSU and contribute back to the program like Honey Badger. That to me, would show how much he cares about the “brand”.

LSU Tiger legend IMO. Hate that injuries slowed him down. I wonder how his perceived durability affects his NFL draft stock. his potential is sky high. I'm rooting for him.

anyone that treats him more than just a good player for a year is clueless.

Yep, that family knows all too well how quickly it can end.

He was a great piece of the 2019 season and thanks for that. Other than that, I’m out.

Yall shite on his name now, but when he starts to kill it in the NFL everyone will claim him again. Did the same thing with Chase and they hate being called out for it.

I don’t hold his father’s comments against him. I appreciate what Stingley did in 2019, but I’m not sad to see that family go.
