Florida > Mississippi
Never say never. Florida will throw a bag at him if they want him.

You're right. We released a global pandemic because we were absolutely terrified of the underproducing team from University of Texas at Austin and didn't want them to come to Baton Rouge to play us that year.
re: "Kim Mulkey proved the Washington Post right all along"

For those that didn't/won't take the time to read the article. Here's the cliffs notes.
- Mulkey said the WaPo article was a hit piece
- This article contends that it wasn't, it just showed that she is human with good traits and not good traits
- The reference to Trump was an analogy of how the left want articles like this to be a "Gotcha!" moment and the right gets defensive on articles before they are written or read. The way the WaPo article was discussed before dropping invoked the same types of feelings on both sides.
- The CKM "proved the article right" is a reference to the fact that she takes loyalty very serious and is very set in her ways and having an article shed light on some negative traits discussed by former players and family would expectedly get the reaction she gave. She's human.
It really wasn't a negative article about CKM.

Big changes caused that. Dylan was committed to Les Miles and we fired him right before he was going to college.
Keylan has been outspoken about his love for the university and the coaching staff. He isn't going anywhere. This visit is probably a site seeing tour of college station with his brother.

he is not on Pacheco's level. Deal with it
Tough to say when he only gets 1 or 2 carries per game. The one year he actually got a similar amount of carries, he performed as well as Pacheco did.
re: Biggest LSU Football Recruiting snubs. Last day defections. Who you got?
Posted by stho381 on 2/7/24 at 10:13 am
Gunner Kiel was another one.
5* QB who was committed and set to EE with LSU and then misses the EE meeting and moves into the dorms in Southbend and enrolls at ND.
That one had lots of people scratching their head.

aTm hasn't had 8 wins since the 2021 season. You should change their name.

Expected.
He never decommitted.

Some thought it was Bussey

We don't need a flip. McKinley will sign, we'll wrap up a top 10 class and move on to our #1 class in 2025.

Sure, you had people getting no-show jobs and $1,000 bucks here and there. Maybe a high-level guy occasionally got a decent amount of money. But to imply that it has always been like this is fantasy land.
Bama used to hand out Dodge vehicles like they were candy. It was always like this. It just has a bright light shown on it now.

DeBoer’s system
Without Grubb, it will be interesting to see how that system works with a QB that isn't very accurate.
re: How likely is it we land Terry Bussey?
Posted by stho381 on 2/4/24 at 9:58 am
He's a big family guy and by all accounts seems to be a high integrity kid.
He committed to aTm. He's stayed committed to them. They are located closer to home.
Bussey doesn't seem like the kind of kid who would stay committed and then jump ship on national signing day.
I would say our chances are 1%. There's a chance, but all signs are pointing in favor of aTm.

what are percentages of BK leaving for Michigan if it becomes available?
Why the hell would CBK leave a northern blue blood in order to come to a southern blue blood that has a better recruiting base and more potential for championships and long term success, work his arse off for 2 years to get the dumpster fire put out and heading in a great direction, to just leave and go back to the exact same situation he left, only he would be starting over with less talent and impending sanctions?
Seriously people. He left ND to come here, Michigan is essentially the same situation. There is 0.00001% chance he leaves for Michigan unless LSU tells him to kick rocks and that ain't happening.

lack of movement in the portal on defense has me thinking it will be more of the same next year. Will it be good enough for the playoffs? We will see.

re: How would you rank these 5 former LSU receivers?
Posted by stho381 on 1/19/24 at 9:01 pm
1. Chase
2. Jefferson
3a. Nabers
3b. Thomas
Boutte's not even in the top 10 of LSU receivers in my opinion.

I love how everybody is glossing over this.
Napier was hired November 2021, so Corey would've had a few months to try and get recruits in the class of 2022. He landed two 4* safeties (#9 and #24 nationally). IMO, this class is a wash. The staff had no time to truly recruit any players since they were just starting out.
In the class of 2023, Corey was apparently responsible for two 4* CBs (#4 and #34 nationally) and a 4* S (#12 nationally).
He was fired before ESD for the 2024 class.
Considering he had a little less than 2 years to recruit players to UF when the program was at the worst it's been in decades, I would say CR didn't do that bad.
