Correctomundo! My whole point pointing this out is that the blame is on the players on the field and not Baker. Anyone would have to be a fool to think Baker would make a defensive call and leave no LB's covering the QB draw. I truly believe had Weeks been there he would have checked the linebackers out of pass coverage.

The safeties being so deep is insane: look if they beat you with a perfectly-placed high point toe tap at the back line you tip your cap.

Instead we give them the easiest possible path.

Original call was some form of Cover 2 man.

Whit was supposed to be in the middle. Why do we need 8 guys covering 5 WRs?

You guys are so positive even after the Kentucky coach said it was NOT a called QB draw.

Bro, they did the same thing at the end of the first half and almost scored then ended up scoring. How are you not ready for it the second time?

Has anyone explained why false start wasnt called? I didnt know that if we ever have a presnap penalty we can just call a timeout and it's no longer a penalty.

That said, they could have gotten 18 yards out of that draw so 3 yards or 8 wasn't going to matter either way.

I called when they were at the line of scrimmage. Baker is a 1/2 game caller. Makes great halftime adjustments, but our offense has to play from behind. And these last drives where the defense is playing so damn soft is driving me crazy.

They claim Stein called a timeout before it happened but video evidence shows that’s not true. Even the shitty announcers called that one out.

They also called out the obvious non interference call late in the game. The Lane hate has me worried a bit.

It’s expected, after that Olineman punched Weeks right in front of the ref and nothing was called early in the Ole Miss game I knew the whole season would be like this especially on the road. Problem is Refs or no your D can’t give up over 400 yards and 30 points per game to teams like OM and UK. It’s not nearly good enough, those are Matt House numbers.

I thought he’d make a jump this year and maybe he’ll turn it around but he’s the biggest problem.

When you imply that “they” weren’t ready, do you mean the guy who missed the call and blew his assignment?

So your assertion is that Baker told him to watch for it and he ignored that or forgot in a matter of seconds?

No. Lane Kiffin’s assertion was that a player missed the call.
