They never went 5 wide for any other reason. How the frick the Baker or anyone else on the field not know that?

I get it, we aren't coaches, but every last one of you, including me, as soon as we saw that shite, we said Minchey is running it up the middle.

It was amazing how obvious it was. How no one on the team saw it and audibled the defense makes no sense.

I don’t try to act like a DC but it looked like it was likely as well.

And it was as easy as possible with Baker calling it.

That’s now Dottery’s responsibility with Weeks out.

He and Keys both shifting out when LSU already had safety help on both sides is crazy.

Tylen Singelton needs to play over Keys. He's always by the play but way too slow. That 3rd down conversion in OT would've been picked off by a quicker backer. He became fools gold when he got that pick 6 vs Baylor. Plays like another DJ Welter.

Keys is pretty good against the run but at least 1 tick too slow in pass coverage.

Nailed it. Was screaming at the TV when I saw them go wide and spread us out. QB draw.!!! Where the hell were the LB’s. Dude could have moonwalked into the end zone ..

Yep. You also had the D-line completely selling out on the rush leaving gapping running lanes when, even it it was a pass play it was going to be a quick one, and they weren't getting home anyway

The referee was the only one playing close enough to stop the draw. It really is unbelievable how dumb some of our players are.

I think most of my former PE classes (including girls) could identify that the QB would run a draw right there.

You are correct. I called the first one too.

Still, how do you leave the entire middle of the field undefended? That was dumb.

Baker and the coaches probably realized that when they lined up that way but Lane had already used his one timeout, ouch!

one of dumbest plays ive witnessed

5 olineman blocking 4 and you leave the path to the middle of the end zone wide open

Mettenburger could have run in and scored the td

According to qb it wasnt. Qb draw wasn’t the play or the priority read for him. But it was too easy and open.

and to top it off, both DT's slanted to the outside, opening the biggest hole I have ever seen on a play inside the 3 yd line EVER. He could have walked in the EZ. Nobody even close

Everyone to include the blind also knew that they were gonna throw to the sidelines during their final drive to tie the game. Why BB was not prepared for that is also puzzling.

Mincey and Sloan must have been giggling when the entire middle of the field emptied out.

Yeah, if you remember KY ran the QB draw earlier in the game and made good yardage there also. On the 2 point conversion, LSU had 5 in the box...4 DL and 1 LBer I guess he was. KY had more in that area that LSU had. How incredibly STUPID that the LSU defense didn't know EXACTLY the play KY was going to run. They ran it before and it worked. That "magician's trick" of 'hey, look over there' has been around for decades. Every single team in football runs that play and almost every single time that formation screams "QB DRAW"! Wow, just wow!

Why does it take a full first half for Baker to make adjustments? Someone needs to show him a film room.

At the end of the first half and on the 2pt play it was SO OBVIOUS qb draw was coming.
