I don't know who will step up. You sound like you have a good grasp at our current options. I don't know those players but hopefully one or two of them will start to emerge.
Pepi "emerged" this cycle as he wasn't on our World Cup roster in Qatar. Hopefully someone else will come up and make an impression.

If Pepi is our 2nd best striker, then we are in a world of hurt. His pace for 23 year old was lacking. He should have been hustling his arse off especially since he was alway a sub mainly. He was way too passive. The drop off between Balogun and Pepi is pretty massive. Plenty of opportunity for another striker to step up.
Agree with Freeman on stock rising and Freese with stock falling.
Dest is an intersting player. Sometime you watch him and he's world class, other times he's playing as bad as Weah against Turkey. Was glad to see Poch pulled Dest at half, he was garbage yesterday. Agree his stock may be falling as well.

US Players - Stock

Tough ending ot the World Cup for USMNT. Not sure we will ever get over the soccer hump in any of our lifetimes unless there are some dramatic changes to US Soccer.
Thought these players stock rose during the World Cup
Rising
Tillman
Berhalter
Balogun
Freeman
Thought these players stock fell
Falling
Weah
Pepi
Pulisic
Turner
Freese
Dest
Felt like everytone else was what they were. After last nights game, you could agrue that our entire team is falling but would be hard to judge tthem all on one crappy performance.
A lot of unrealized talent on the team. They are missing that edge that you see all of these other teams play with. The comback Argentina just pulled on Egypt was increible. Those players were going balls out for themselves and their country. It just means more to all those other teams.
Miss the defenses of Gooch, Agoos, Pope, Balboa, Lalas, Jones: goalies like Meola, Keller, Howard, Fridel, Guzan. Those were all "bring your lunch pail to wok" guys. What they lacked in skill, they more than made up with in heart.
Agree with some posters on here that we need to try and rebuild this team around Flo and Tillman. They were our breakout stars. Pulisic is very talented but is just missing something when it comes to this environment. He may be more talented than Donovan, but Landon was always balls to wall for the US.

re: Entire Super Bowl XLIV radio broadcast with Jim and Hokie

Forgot how good Jim Henderson was on the radio. Really one of the best play by play guys to ever do it.
Liked Weahs attitude during his minutes. Played pissed. We need that

If all the astronauts are evacuated in safety capsule, then who's doing the repair work?

Suns made 20 3 pointer. That’s pretty hard to win against. League average is around 12 per game.
We didn’t defend it great but they didn’t miss them. We missed a lot of ours. 3 point shooting and defending is definitely a big problem.
Also, we got abused on the offense glass a lot tonight too. The face we kept this game in reach is amazing

We will be Florida during the Spurrier years and it will be fun
I am encouraged by the team. Win doesn’t matter. Shough is learning and looking like he can lead the team. Vele looked great today. Loved the new kicker. Defense plays tough and keeps you in games.
KM is also learning too. I’m good with him making play calling mistakes this year when it doesn’t matter. He will get better.
This is how this season needs to play out for us to improve overall. Reload in the draft and Free Agency

"The Gator"!!
My favorite player as a kid. Lost the AL MVP in 1988 to Canseco. Hell of a ball player and played his whole MLB carrer with the Red Sox.
Awesome dude.

Gas Panic is awesome live!
Saw the set lits for the first two shows were identical. Hope they mix it up during the tour and throw in some deep cuts.

re: Have you ever seen a band two nights in a row?

311 had a back to back about 5 or 6 years ago in New Orleans. Completely different set list both nights and they played pretty much every song they ever recorded. It was awesome.
Oasis - Wonderwall
Bush - Glycerine
Collective Soul - World I Know
Those are all great songs
