re: AP via local CBS: The Capitol assault a “more sinister attack than first appeared” - ClubTiger on 1/11/21 at 11:07 am Would love to see the photos of the gallows and noose the reporter is referring to. Figured that would have been all over the news by now. ... Posted on Political Talk Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2) |
re: Tchefuncte's in Madisonville - ClubTiger on 1/7/21 at 11:05 am We went last week. Great atmosphere, really good service and food was solid.

Tree/Shrub Recommendation - ClubTiger on 10/27/20 at 3:28 pm My adjacent backyard neighbors pool kinda looks over my backyard fence. Hard to get any privacy in our yard when they are in theirs. Luckly, I like my neighbors but would like to put up some trees/shrubs that could give us some privacy.
Any suggestions of something that we could plant at this fe... Posted on Home & Garden Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (5) |

re: Construction Management Internships - ClubTiger on 10/1/20 at 3:56 pm I would recommend starting off in the field. Would be more opportunties for someone who's willing to go do manual labor on a jobsite. Lots of guys in the field don't respect the white collar "interns" that have never used a shovel. Pay your dues in the field and it will make you better in the offic... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
Dobbins or Switft - ClubTiger on 9/24/20 at 12:04 pm Who's got the better upside for this year and potentially turning into a keeper next year?
Swift would be a 4th round keeper next year and Dobbins a 5th round keeper. I have an opportunity to get one of them. ... Posted on Fantasy Sports Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3) |

re: Filthy Bluegrass - ClubTiger on 8/19/20 at 4:39 pm Good thread. Turned me on to some artists I've not explored yet (Billy Stings, Molly Tuttle, Tony Rice)
I'm still a big fan of Sarah Jarosz and the collaboration with Sara Watkins and Aoife O'Donovan (I'm With Her).
Speaking of Sara Watkins, really miss Nickle Creek. I think Chris Thile is one ... Posted on Music Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3) |

re: Madisonville - Friends coming back as two restaurants - ClubTiger on 6/24/20 at 3:43 pm
Article says they now have an 88 space parking lot on site. Weird that the last owner didn’t buy the property for that.
Was involved with the rebuild after Issac. Original owner (who did sadly commit suicide) always had the marina parking as part of the plan. Its a family that owns... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

re: Concrete Slab Question - ClubTiger on 6/12/20 at 12:06 pm
No need for rebar on a 4” slab. Wire mesh would have been fine. However if you used fibermesh concrete and no vehicular traffic, it should be fine.
As far as the cracking, wire mesh or rebar would not matter. All concrete cracks. They should have installed contraction joints to control the... Posted on Home & Garden Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Concrete Slab Question - ClubTiger on 6/12/20 at 11:50 am
No, he just said it was the same stuff they pour for pools and hot tubs.
Well that's a weird response from him. They use gunite for pools/spas and they always have rebar. You don't use gunite for a slab... Posted on Home & Garden Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Concrete Slab Question - ClubTiger on 6/12/20 at 11:47 am He most likely used Fibermesh [link=(https://fibermesh.com/)]Fiber Mesh[/link]. They add it to the concrete mix at the batch plant. It cost him more per CY but he doesn't have to buy rebar and rodbust.
Rebar is preferable and using both would have been the strongest option. That being said, for ... Posted on Home & Garden Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
