He's not wrong. She's good enough to the point she'll never get fired but they'll also probably never win anything with her. If this was a sport like football they'd take action but not in a non-revenue sport. If you don't like it you can always pay her buyout.

No complaints! Verge does not have an interest in LSU Softball!
Last year the number one pitcher, Sydney Berzon, transfers out and goes to Oklahoma! This year our ace Jayden Heavener enters the transfer portal! Obviously, something is going on to have your #1 pitcher enter the transfer on two consecutive years!
Then when LSU played Alabama in the Super Regionals how many of our batters took a third strike with the damn bat on their shoulder? Way too dang many that's for sure!

How did Berzon do at OU? Lmao barely pitched, she was the number 4!! We sure lost a lot there!! Heavener wasn’t the ace at years end she was number 3 and was the 19th best pitcher in the SEC but let’s not let facts get in the way here.

I for the life of me dont understand why for a non revenue sport and a coach who makes the post season consistently
In her 15 years she has had 5 world series appearances, 14 regional appearances, and 9 super regional appearances
She may not have won a world series but i would not chalk her up as a bad coach over a sport that has zero revenue
