The sport loses money - do we really need to pay more for a coach? Beth is getting us to the postseason. It’s softball. That’s fine.

He's not wrong. She's good enough to the point she'll never get fired but they'll also probably never win anything with her. If this was a sport like football they'd take action but not in a non-revenue sport. If you don't like it you can always pay her buyout.
