It's waaaayyyy past time to make a change! If he feels that way, maybe it's also time for a new AD to emerge and replace Verge!

We are NOT going to fire a coach that just lost in the super regional to the number 1 overall seed.

Guess what? You don't go on the road to face the number 1 seed if you earned a higher seed. And I guess hovering around .500 in conference play for nearly a decade and having 9 other SEC programs make the WCWS since LSUs last appearance shouldn't be considered either. We wouldn't accept it in other sports, but mediocrity in softball is ok.
With that said, I really hope Beth is able to do something and turn it around to give LSU more success.

We just accepted 4 years of dead last in the SEC in men’s basketball.
LSU just spent a bajillion dollars to change football and men’s basketball staffs. Women’s basketball is a black hole that bleeds money. Softball just isn’t a top priority. The softball team had a better season this season than last, finished Top 16 in the country. No one with a brain thought she would be fired after this season.

if we do not GAF about softball then let her walk after contract is up and hire some kid on the cheap. because somebody else can absolutely get these results for way less pay.
we have brian kelly as softball coach. she ain't even les miles. les at least won the SEC TWICE and played for TWO nattys. torina has done NEITHER

Who cares man. We’re competitive in a sport that loses the university hundreds of thousands of dollars. She’s good enough for that. We aren’t breaking the bank for the top tier coaches in non revenue sports. Once Kim retires, they’ll find a young up and comer that they don’t need to throw millions at. Kim did what we hired her to do- put us back on the map. But that came with a cost I doubt we’ll pay down the road in this new NIL age.
