It’s LSU man and Louisiana is a poor state. Never going to be as nice as other schools because we either won’t spend the money or the money just isn’t available. I accepted this a long time ago. Nothing is ever going to change that.

Only Auburn (2003) hasn’t done anything to their stadium since built.
Auburn has plans in place to add seats on top of the left field wall like the green monster at Fenway. Also expand seating on first base line to include premium seats, club space and more concessions. When I went to the Auburn series a former Aub. player was telling me about it.

I have been to the Box a good number of times and do not see anything wrong with it. LSU is always among the top schools in attendance.

Do you ever watch any games at other SEC stadiums, even on tv? Other stadiums have chair back seats (not high school bleacher seats) all around the park.

LSU sells the most tickets. They should take care of those fans.

The box is possibly the most bland stadium in the sec, which is everyone’s complaint. There is absolutely no uniqueness. The only thing you could consider to be unique is the bullpens on the field, which is unique because it’s a horrible idea.
Put back the six championship flags in CF and boom, we trump them all.

Alex Box is as meh a baseball stadium is in the SEC. The Intimidator is always cool and the scoreboards now are nice, but that's the only thing I like about it.

How are we falling behind? List the teams with better stadium/facilities

Honestly that stand section in Left Field is pretty bad arse. Alex Box needs a renovation and quickly.

Stfu
LSU athletics isn’t poor and has some of the nicest facilities for players in the country
You think Miss st has more money than LSU?
If skip doesn’t go so cheap in the first place the stadium wouldn’t be so far behind

We're in the bottom half in the SEC for fan facing facilities.
Which borderline doesn't matter. Spend the money getting the players.

Customer experience doesn’t matter. That’s the basis for every sound business model.
Posted on 5/31/23 at 5:10 pm to MOT
I don't even like or want to be seen as a "customer". That attitude has eroded the experience as much as it has being nickel and dimed every time you turn around.
I've never needed or wanted fan "amenities". I'm there to watch the game.

You have to remember Vandy used to have what was basically a high school baseball field. You literally could break your ankle in left because the outfield sloped up to the wall. A local real estate guy named Charles Hawkins gave them $ 1MM for upgrades ( hence Hawkins field ). So they started at the bottom, and ANY upgrade is a big improvement.

Believe it when I see it

The problem you have is those are non revenue producing sports. They can wait to get us an upgraded box.
Debatable. When you have Olympians on campus, it brings in some pretty profitable exposure.
The Box is the newest facility outside of maybe the beach volleyball facility, it can wait in line.

Cohen was probably promised some baseball stadium improvement money to hold his nose and hire Freeze
