Just give it up ell, it isn’t possible to have both a great team and a great atmosphere/fan experience. Those fans who don’t show up for games are just whiners. Quite frankly they should be paying triple the cost just for the privilege to watch LSU while sitting in bleachers that look like they’re from a rec park in the 1970’s.

I never once said other stadiums didn’t have better physical/aesthetic things for the FANS. Sure they probably should upgrade bleachers to seats. They could add more tailgate friendly areas or add more students sections. That’s all great.

But if you made a list of all the things that matter to players/recruits/staffs, those things will be at the bottom of everyone’s list. If you argue against that, then you’re just being dumb.

Tacky thinks it plays no factor at all.

It doesn’t, to players/recruits/staff. I’ll give you maybe 1% on their priority list.

There are ZERO recruits out there that are using that to make their decision. Except maybe because it’s the “shiny new toy”

LSU doesn’t need a shiny new toy.

You had one defender in this thread and now you’ve lost him.

Hawkins Field entry atrium

Who gives a flying fvck?
I just want to see baseball and eat decent food whilst doing so. I don't need all of the fluff and bullshite.
I like the Superdome. I like Tiger Stadium. I liked the old Yankee Stadium.
The "experience" is the game.

People go to the games when they feel like going. There are dozens of games and few people go to 90% of the games.

Come tournament time the stadium fills up. People stand in the concourse. They’d love to have a seat on the metal bleachers.

The seats don’t bring the fans in at championship time. The team does. The team brings the excitement, the fans bring support.

I saw State games and Ole Miss games in tv. They were getting their butts kicked. There was no great “atmosphere” at either Oxford or Starkville. The stadia were less than half full. Even the student crowd at Oke Miss had thinned out.

Face it, the teams bring the juice. Not the amenities.
