Has an administrator ever been so deservedly hated as this clown?

because he hasn't had any actual success that proves he's worthy of being our coach.
I don’t know where this sense of entitlement comes from with you people.
But let’s not deviate from the important message of this thread. Joe is no mo

Hell yea, I'm drinking to this soon as 4 o clock gets here

He wins the games that any coach at LSU would win...he cannot beat more qualified coaches like Saban, Mullen and Fisher.
LSU was 4-2 vs. ranked teams last season
5 of those games were against teams inside the Top 10... 2 at neutral sites, 2 at home, 1 on the road

he got 10 wins when they were barely expected to get 7
the team handled the then #2 ranked team in the country
and got another top-10 win on the road
everyone knows a transition period takes about 3-5 years... he's only on year 3
let's at least give him the transition period... esp. if he's still getting double digit wins
didn't it suck when the Dome Patrol Saints ran up against the Joe Montana/Steve Young/Jerry Rice 49ers? B/c that's what LSU (and the rest of the SEC) is facing right now with Saban's Alabama
so...why fire Les Miles?

I don’t like Alleva, but it kind of pisses me off that he’s being forced out as a scape goat by the very people who made the Wade decision. It shouldn’t be just Alleva named in that report. They went over his head on numerous occasions. Firing Miles, hiring Jimbo, I don’t think he wanted to suspend Wade, etc.

BR Business Report: Alleva to step down (we ridin)
LSU Athletics Director Joe Alleva is expected to step down—perhaps as early as today—from the position he has held at the university for more than a decade, a high ranking source within the LSU System tells Daily Report.

he was well out of his transition period... we knew what we had with Miles
when you see the same mistakes happening over and over again and not getting fixed (i.e. lack of passing game, continuous clock management issues) through multiple assistants... then it's time to get a new voice at the helm

While details of Alleva’s expected departure remain murky, sources say a deal is in the works to replace him with a nationally recognized leader in university athletics. That announcement is also expected in the coming days.
this is not Verge...no way

Why would we have to pay his contract if he resigns?

Can everyone quit hijacking the thread by debating whether O is a good coach? This is a celebration thread.
Now, I will play Debbie Downer and agree that MrLSU is likely correct:
I honestly think that Alleva is gone for reasons that have nothing to do with the Will Wade fiasco.

Who? And what does he have to do with this story?
Rolfe Mccollister: owns BR Business Report and is on the LSU BoS. No way it makes it into his paper if it's not true and he clearly has inside info.
