There’s a difference between an unpopular and a dumb opinion. Would I be happy with winning the SEC and going to the ncaa tournament 4 of the 5 years? Yes of course I will be. What kind of question is that lol. LSU basketball is literally dead. That would be not dead.

My biggest gripe about WW’s teams were:
1. Offensively they seemed to play a lot of improvised street ball. Personally prefer a system like UCONN. Their ball movement is elite.
2. Defensively they seemed to make a lot of the better teams they faced look like the 2016 Warriors.
Still excited to have tPear back in BR.

He made the tourney every year at LSU except the first. Made it both years at Mcneese and made it this year at NC State.

I, for one, am not a fan of this hire. I don’t believe he is worth the buyouts to get him. What’s he done so spectacular at LSU or any other place he’s been since?

8 of the last 9 years he’s made it and he’s coached what 11-12 years max. Also has the 5th longest tourney streak in the country and is top 10 in winning percentage for coaches with 10+ years.

We were irrelevant, the fan base disinterested, and amazingly still had a budget surplus.
Wade instantly makes us nationally relevant and has immediately engaged the fan base. He will win.
Elite? Especially at this point in the program - who cares?
