I think that is what was drawn up. Have Max inbound, race down. If A&M hounds him (they did), it is going to free someone else up. Mosley was about as open and unhurried as you would ever see (I was actually worried he was going too slow) and still missed. It was actually a pretty cool play.
Did he lose the clock? Or just get too aggressive? He had one guy to beat, and then could’ve drawn the big off of Mike for an easy two.
Sutton yes.

Tamba had 11 rebounds, two assists and some good defense. We need a guy like that.
I was listening to the game until halftime. And I was thinking to myself that if we could hold them to four made threes in the second half we could get it done. Tigers really did play the game that they wanted to against A&M except ….

Freaking 16 TOs.

I also think Max had a point about the press. Did anyone notice that the ref was quick to instruct Miller on the press but ignored A&M crowding the baseline?
That’s a great recap. I just wish we knew what was going on with Sutton.
I dunno, King showed some toughness on the press. He was willing to body up to those guys and move north instead of getting trapped.
Yeah, until that weird two minute sequence at the end, I was actually happy with how King and Reece handled the press. CMM should’ve switched to King after the second TO. Reece looked a little rattled.

But imagine if King had made that two at the end. This game came down to just little plays like that.
That really was well executed. And it looked good off Mosley’s hand.
Dammit Reece you were playing so well, come on. Finish strong
It’s maybe how poor A&M is, but our half court defense has actually been pretty good this half.
Ha. Why remember Miller and Max’s names: just combine them.

But wow, we need Nwoko back in. Now.
Miller’s face after mauling that guy — priceless
Oh man, this feels like a big sequence
I’m frustrated with the slow pace, but Coach Brady and CMM discussed on the radio before the game that this is how LSU was going to play — I’m guessing CMM didn’t trust the team to run and give A&M too many offensive plays (cause the three ball could kill us).

And man Sutton looks hesitant — is he hurt?
That’s two great offensive sequences, keep it up Tigahs
Another terrible call. I went back. Reece caught it at the 38 second mark then crossed the line at the 29 mark. That’s not a violation. Refs blew it
Oh crap. DJ is player number one that this team needed to remain healthy all season.

Reece has been playing well of late. Guess it’s his team now?
Hmm Alt, this is a pretty convincing list. Food for thought if the season turns south. I hope it doesn’t, but as Juaquin Andujar used to say, “Youneverknow”
Toyloy Brown with the Advocate is the local best writer. He is actually a pretty good reporter with his experience and the size of the market. He even does AMAs about bball. There’s just not much interest right now.

And to be frank, it’s hard getting excited about reading posts here. I don’t always agree with everyone, and I don’t need to — that’s the fun of Boards. But to have the same two or three dudes post the same “McMen suck” post every freaking day (sometimes multiple times on every page of the thread) without contributing ANYTHING to the discussion is just boring, bellend behavior.

I’m tempted to go fire CMM myself just so they will shut the frick up. But then they’ll just bitch about the next guy.
