I doubt seriously they'll do that. In recent years SEC teams would show up on their home fields wearing white vs LSU (Miss. State a couple of times about 15 years ago, South Carolina famously with Spurrier), forcing LSU to wear purples. It always backfired on the home team in those cases-- just like way back when Vandy under Rod Dowhower came into Tiger Stadium wearing whites, trying to psych out Gerry Dinardo and the Tigers.

I thought this was correct and wasn’t sure why you were being downvoted, but after a little research it looks like they only need permission from non conference opponents.

I would expect them to wear their sissy blue colors unless they are trying to rid themselves of anything from the Kiffin era.

If they should choose white as a finger in the eye to LSU/Kiffin, it's bulletin board material.

It's going to be a night game so the purple jerseys with gold pants is still a great combo. I just don't like wearing purple or dark during the daytime because the whites are more comfortable in the sun.
