Oh heaven forbid that LSU has to ever wear purple jerseys . Some people will lose their shite. They claim to bleed purple and gold but cry when the purple jerseys come out.

If we are that much in their head then it gives us better chance of victory. Just focus and play hard.
ETA we beat saban in 2007 and thought it was a big deal. Miles won like 2 more times against saban in the next 10.
This game will be built up but really says nothing long term about what Kiff will do at LSU.

I think gold/purple/gold would be a nice change up in an SEC road game. The white jerseys look the best imo but I wouldn’t mind the purple jerseys at all.

Sure, why not? Home team has that choice. If it ticks off LSU so they can’t wear their traditional white jerseys they will likely do just that.

Some of yall's obsession with what uniform combo LSU wears is weird. Im willing to bet that highest donors dont even give a damn as much as some of you do... they probably just want to win.

Ole Miss will wear the navy jerseys with navy helmet and black shoes cause Kiffin didn’t like that combo like they did in the playoffs

The game is a 6:30 start, third weekend of September.
It won't be direct sunlight-- the stadium will sort of block that from happening. Now the same weekend in 2024 Brian Kelly for whatever reason had our team out for a 2:30 start game, in gold-purple-gold uniforms, on the hottest afternoon in Tiger Stadium history. The heat of the uniforms really did impact the team's play that day.
