Knice! We need Florida back on the schedule too.

Tulane, Florida, Ole Miss & Miss State on the schedule every year-- a return to normalcy

This is good. Screw all the "nothing to gain" narrative. Time to bring back the in state rivalry.

Tulane is a top G5 program and most likely there to stay with the surrounding leftover talent.

I still can't believe these guys have actually sniffed playoffs and we haven't in recent years.

Interesting that the 2027 & 2028 August games are in week zero.

"State rivalry"? It hasn't been a rivalry in 30-40 years. The weenies have not sold its allotment of tickets for games in T. S. in decades & decades. They don't care about the game, why should we?

Perhaps Verge learned his lesson after we kept getting dragged by teams with Week 0 opponents.

Tulane isn’t a cupcake these days, we’ll see if they can continue that direction.

But yes, better than going in cold against a big P4 team week 1

Getting out of the parking lot was a nightmare for that game. Police almost had a riot on their hands.

A hilarious thing to note is that LSU is paying ULM $1.5 million to come play, and they’re only paying Tulane $1.2 million. Still sticking it to Tulane one way or another!

I will gladly take Florida every other year if it means we can play every school home and away in a four year span. There is no reason it should’ve taken 15 years for LSU to return to Athens.

week zero.

This could also be the case if CFP is expanded.
